One of the best brunches in Portland due to freshness and quality. Easy to make at home but was special to eat out. I agree with what the others said about a long wait but it's a weekend and nice to walk around the neighborhood and sit and enjoy the company.

Never even got to try the food. Came in on a Thursday morning was quoted 20 min for a table. No problem I don’t mind waiting I’ve heard great things about the food. Waited 45 minutes for a table even though there was plenty of empty tables. Keep in mind this place has 10 tables including the outside tables which I could serve in my sleep. No reason for it to take that long it was not busy (5/10 tables were sat). Finally got sat and sat outside at our table for 15 minutes and was never greeted or had our order taken. We finally just left and went somewhere else. Total waste of over an hour of my life.

Horrendous service experience here. We were in line before they opened (5th party in line) and were sat at 9:00. We didn’t get our pastries, which are already made, until 9:40 and our hot food at 10:10. Keeping a 5 year old and a 1 year old calm for 45 minutes while waiting for anything to eat was not fun.

At no point did the server acknowledge let alone apologize for the delay. Every table that was sat at the same time as us had already paid and left before our food came. When I pointed out the long wait (over an hour at that point) the server made excuses. Only when I pressed that 70 minutes is an unacceptable wait time did they consider doing anything to make it right. And obviously by this review you can assume they did not do nearly enough.

The food is limited and excellent. Service is OK, but worth it.

Slooow service...small portions...limited menu...no espresso...Took 37 minutes after ordering to receive eggs, toast, a little basic side salad and a piece of pork belly..took them 12 minutes after seating to take my order... So I sat there almost an hour, alone (small order) waiting and waiting...very disappointed/dissatisfied with spending so much money for small portions that took forever to recieve. Am I paying a premium and waiting an extra 20 minutes for my food because they are relying on a piece of (overly) seaded toast for the business model?

The food was pretty decent. Turkey sandwich was great, save the copious amount of seeds. The service was really quite poor. After our food was delivered the server never returned. We planned on ordering more but got tired of waiting. I finally tracked down the server to get our check.

Late lunch was a hit! Ordered the zucchini sandwich (add bacon). Delicious, served quickly and the atmosphere is clean and airy. Loved the vinyl being played through the small space.

A wonderful spot for Brunch! Hot tip, the hours on google are wrong. They’re now open at 9am Friday through Sunday!

This place feels like it has no value add. The space is not comfortable to be inside or out, the prices are extreme, the wait time is long, the menu is limited, like.... why? High class fair at an expensive price for small portions served in a rush to limited seating! Read the menu and realize that $2 for a side of butter is not a typo.

This was my first time visiting Sweedeedee, and I was immediately charmed by the cozy, welcoming vibe of this cute little neighborhood spot. The service was quick, and everything felt relaxed yet efficient. I ordered the turkey sandwich, which was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The bread was fluffy and tasted homemade, which made it even better. I also had the English breakfast tea, and I loved that it was loose leaf and served in a French press—such a thoughtful touch! I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying some of their bakery items. A lovely find!

We got the endive salad and breakfast sandwich with bacon. The endive salad was so delicious and fresh highly recommend for an extra crunch with your meal! They did forget our bacon and we said we were okay without it. The breakfast sandwich itself was just okay nothing stood out in terms of flavor. Then we got the lemon honey cake which was the right balance of sweetness. It wasn’t too sweet at all and perfect with an iced coffee! Highly recommend!

Extensive hot tea selection, but I opted for an iced matcha. Small, intimate spot that gets pretty noisy as WFH types gather around the pastry case. Menu had some nice variety, including a Spanish tortilla which was perfect for me. Loved the greens with shaved dama sagrada.

I'll start by saying the food was absolutely delicious, in spite of it lacking a bit.

My partner and I stopped in for lunch. They were out of a couple of dishes, so we both got the nicoise salad. Again, it was absolutely delicious, but it seemed to be very small for the $18 price tag, almost appetizer sized. I was still quite hungry after we left.

On top of that, it took more than an hour to get us the two salads. It's a small place, with a small menu, and they weren't really all that busy. A little more than half of the tables were seated, with two servers and at least three additional people in the kitchen. We saw at least one other table walk out because (i assume) they were tired of waiting.

Really great spot for brunch. It’s small and cozy, with warm lighting and a relaxed vibe that makes it feel like you’re hanging out in someone’s home. The food was delicious—simple, well-made, and satisfying. It does get busy on the weekends, so there might be a wait, but it’s worth it. Definitely a place I’d come back to!
