I absolutely enjoy this place, I came here after a haircut from Lyle's Barbershop a shop in the same building. I tried the Cortado it was smooth and bold espresso, they use a roast from Stumptown. I also got one if the Bourekas, a flakey pastry sandwich with egg, cheese, sliced pickles, and sesame seeds sprinkled on top, it was delicious, it blew my mind and I will be having more in the future. Pricing is pretty average with everyone else, and their foods as well. They have quite a menu with a lot of specialty pastries, serving Jewish and Israeli foods, which has a special place in my heart. Anyway I'm coming back to this place, super friendly and welcoming of all people. My second visit I came around noon and it was slow, I came for a coffee and Cortado, the owner had joined me outside with a Cortado for himself. We got to talking, shared a little bit about himself, and I must say the man loves motorcycles- its even in their sign's logo. It's not often I hear how much joy and satisfaction a owner and chef gets from seeing people enjoy the service and food they offer, but it makes me glad to stop by for a coffee or a nice sandwich that I know I'll enjoy.

The sabich is the most delicious middle eastern inspired pita sandwich I've had in town. Lovely family who runs the cafe too. We look forward to returning again soon.

Been meaning to visit this place for a while! We got an array of sweet and savory pastries to go, including rugelach, bourekas and cheese bites. The bourekas were to die for -- we put them into the oven for a minute, and had them hot and they were so delicious! Lovely family owned spot, we'll be back for sure!In terms of COVID safety, they wore masks, adhered to social distancing, door was open for ventilation, and the owners were super friendly.I want to come back for lunch :)

I've been waiting for burekas to come to Portland for many years, Thank you Ilan for baking fresh burekas, my favorite food. I tried the leaks burekas, Cheese burekas wich, and the sabich all was super good. Pitas are made specifically for this place as you can't find this kind anywhere else (I tried). going back today to get the potato burekas and humus.

No joke the BEST humus in Portland Oregon!! I didn't sit still somewhat chucky and comes warmWwarm, a twist! That's not even to mention the pastries, again absolutely incredible so soft mormon delegate they melt in your mouth. This restaurant was just taken over by new owners with a brand new menu. It's a small menu for now, but everything we had was amazing, fresh and delicious! They serve authentic Israeli dishes. We had a salad that was chopped onion, cucumber, tomato with feta on top and it was so much better than this classic combo that you find everywhere. The dressing was amazing, and the feta was out of this world. I also loved the egg salad sandwich, healthy and delicious. This is a great little place, and it so nice to be able to chat with the owners as you order. I'll definitely be back soon.
