Pretty good bbq! Had ribs (both beef and pork) and chicken. Baked beans were good. The sauce was damn good, and they give you a lot. You'll definitely need your wet nap. Pretty quick turnaround for a food cart.

I picked up an order for Grubhub and when I was picking it up the owner decided to give me a plate for free to try it. It was amazing and I've been coming back since!

Came here as group of us were doing a art walk on Alberta street, was craving for some meaty food, stopped by this spot where there were few other food trucks, mind you Portland is known for food trucks as I discovered, we ordered bbq ribs that came with the potato salad And greens and , chicken wings. Mind you, I have never seen my fiancé finishing potato salad when we've ordered in the past from other place, which he did so there must be something good about this place , he liked the collard greens, meat was cooked well, I just thought it was little too much bbq sauce, meat kinda somewhat seemed like they were swimming in the sauce as I don't really like having that much sauce on the meat but however I liked the meat itself. We were definitely full and satisfied after. I would go back again.

Very good BBQ and very cheap (11.50 for ribs and a couple sides). Small menu, they do ribs and chicken and a few sides which makes it easy to choose. The collard greens here are the best I've ever had - so savory and not bitter at all. They're cooked with some meat bits so vegetarians can't even enjoy them, hah! Love this little food truck pod, they've got Conscious Sedation beer garden in there so you can enjoy a nice beer with your meal as well. Beware though, hours seem pretty irregular.

Sweet Street BBQ tastes like Mississippi to me, and for a Looziana Boy that's pretty close to down home. When my Chicken Plate arrived the first good sign was a slice of white bread. Now I noticed some folks reviewing Sweet Street seem to use this as some kind of Gris Gris curse signifying culinary calamity, but a slice of white bread has an honored place in the bbq world. Besides being basically traditional, white bread can do some serious sopping of that fantastic slathered bbq sauce, and the pot likker at the bottom of those collard deserves to be sponged up too. This Chicken Plate came with three big, fat wings smoked just right, and the meat was so tender made me just put my whole face into em. Wayne called out from the truck to see if I needed more napkins or one of those moist wipes, but I just kept ferociously lickin' my fingers and hands like I had lost my mind. My wife later noticed that I had a bit of sauce on my glasses, and that didn't go over well, seeing as my walk up Alberta was supposed to help me lower my A1C. I tried to make the case that the collards kind of, you know, protect me. Don't they? BBQ Beans were killer, and I suppose giving me the fiber that Lord Knows I need. Backing up all this was a kombucha from Conscious Sedation, a beer and cider cart in the same pod. After demolishing this very budget Chicken Plate ($9), I really admired the thoughtful inclusion of two toothpicks and a moist wipe for the hands. So much appreciate the people that moved up from the South many years ago and not only brought their food traditions but now preserve them and offer them to those of us who will pay attention.

I was SO excited to try this place yesterday. I ordered the BBQ chicken meal and received three very small, very skinny chicken wings soaked in bbq sauce. The collard greens were soaked and sad. The potato salad was... ok. It was the most substantial part. The "cornbread" was a slice of white Wonder bread. The two other carts in this pod i've eaten at were far better so I won't be back.

I ordered a red tip dinner and it was dry and burnt and old and also it wasn't enough for the money that I had paid and the beans and ground beef was stale like days old.

This is my #1 spot for BBQ ribs in Portland. Mouthwatering. Delicious. The service is excellent, prices great, and you really have to try their baked beans...OMG! The recipes are all handed down from long ago, so you can rest assured- these gals know what they're doing. And I can't forget to mention that the portions are huge! I love this place.

I was hungry. For $3 I am now definitely full. Their wednesday special wing "sandwich" is a sweet and tangy delight, with three giant wings slathered in sauce atop a heroically inadequate slice of spongy white bread. The bread was perfect to change up the texture and the flavor, the wings fell off the bone and were just as tasty on or off the wing, and when some of that tangy sauce went down the wrong pipe they quietly handed me a cold bottle of water on the house, really appreciated and sweet. Def coming back on a Friday for the rib sandwich special, and I'll come with my own water this time so they don't have to save me from myself :)
