This place had been a favorite of mine for years now. Conveniently located just blocks from my parents house, I typically eat here a couple times each visit. Their happy hour is incredible between the quality of the food and the prices. You can't go wrong with any of their burgers, however, the steak frites are still number one in my book. A swift kick (their version of an old fashioned) is a must on any visit. Be sure to check them out if you're ever in the neighborhood!

Decent spot to grab a burger or sandwich. Located in a residential area with no parking (drive the neighborhood and park in front of a house and walk). Walked in for an early dinner to a warm welcome and picked my table. Menu is on the small side and debated between the fish and chips and the steak and fries. In the end went with the steak. Asked for it medium rare and it was over cooked. Meat was juicy and well seasoned. It was served on top of fries that were good but not great. For dessert had the crème brûlée and it was also pretty good.

Fantastic little restaurant with amazing fresh food. Everything except the bread seems to be made from scratch. They even make the ketchup. Very reasonably priced. I will have to come back for dinner and try it again.

We had lunch here for the first time. We were recommended to the place as a nearby destination that serves Barley Browns. The food was excellent and fast, and the bar tender serving us seemed like he was genuinely the nicest guy. Very positive experience. Outdoor seating was delightful on a sunny fall day! ?

I’m reviewing mostly to give the establishment feedback. I was with a big group of friends who all ordered drinks. I ordered the Tieton cider expecting it to come in a pint glass, especially since it was $7 and all the other drinks came out in nice glasses but I got handed an opened can. Made the experience less than enjoyable. It’s hard to do a proper cheers at a celebration dinner with a can.

Since the pandemic, menu choices halved, prices significantly raised. Service is spot on and it's an enjoyable place.

We had such a great meal here last Sunday. The chef's killed it, my polenta bowl was outstanding seasoned perfectly corner to corner. Everyone else's plates were gorgeous. Thank you!

Well prepared food, drinks, and dessert. It was so much better than what I was expecting. WTG!!Great, kind, thoughtful, helpful, and patient staff and servers.Whatever you're doing, keep it up! SO, SO, SO good. I'll be back!!!I found parking to be tricky because it seems like it's street parking only. So, finding parking can be frustrating. Also, lots of 30-minute, 60-minute parking, which made the amazing experience at this restaurant, create an aspect of anxiety, which is subjective to each individual.Parking: Crowded part of town, only found street parking with limited parking time restraints.Dietary restrictions: Thanks for having gluten-free options.

This pub is friendly, has nice atmosphere, and really good food. I ordered a burger with an Impossible Burger patty and GF bun, and it's the best vegetarian GF burger I've ever had at a restaurant.Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian burgers!

My friend and I shared the lamb burger and fries and the fried brussel sprouts. Service was friendly. We sat outside as it was a nice day. It took about 40 mins to get our food on an early Sunday afternoon. Other than that, it was great. Lamb burger was moist and delicious -- cooked properly. Fries were crispy. Aioli was super garlicy and light. Brussel sprouts were yummy and smokey and fried. I will definitely be back but maybe not on a Sunday.

Great food that's away from the city center. My favorite dish is the braised chicken over cheesy polenta

OK - first the ambiance and setting. It's in a great little neighborhood with free parking everywhere. Not far from the chaos of Portland and it was clean and calm. The restaurant is pretty big with good seating. We got right in even though it looked busy.Since we were meeting friends they waited to order food until we got there. However, we ordered a couple drinks first. The old fashioned was good. They had a spin on it but it wasn't so hipster that it wasn't good...We shared the steak fritas since it was a big meal and we had a ways to drive. The steak was SO good. Just melted in your mouth. The fries were hand cut steak fries and they were really good. This is getting three stars, however, because the waitress, although she was really nice, was just not attentive enough. We were there for over an hour and a half and never even got a second drink. Not only that, but, we'd ordered something else first and 30 min later she said they were out of it. So, we switched it up and had to get this. Crazy. If the service had been better it would have gotten more stars. She may have just been having an off night but it made our experience less than it should have been.Perhaps we'll try it again on our next trek through Portland.

I really wanted to like this place - nice decor, clean bathroom, and a nice waiter. But the food…it’s not great…or even good. I ordered the chicken sandwich and there was very little actual chicken. It didn’t come anywhere near the quality of a fast food chicken sandwich - and that’s a low bar. For $17 you’d expect some chicken…and ketchup for your fries.
