Server was a completely rude and ignored us while we were waiting to order. As we went to pick up our food, he just threw it on the counter. 0/10 would not recommend.

Dark and dirty but in a good way. Staff was amazing and atmosphere was perfect. Need to go again.

Lot of time spent here. Still pretty solid of a bar.

Went with my sisters and the lady seemed cool until I asked for a refill. I ordered the crispy pork chops w/ buttery grits. I’m sorry but that’s exactly what it was, crispy and black. Could barely cut it or eat. Not flavorful and the no love in the grits. I changed my order to chicken wings and fries and nice crisp but not flavorful either. The music was good though.

Every-time I’ve gone I’ve thrown up because the drinks are so good I can’t stop myself from finishing them 10/10

Swift lounge is always a vibe! Drinks and food are amazing. I went this weekend and they were serving soul food. Their greens were delicious ?

Swift is a true mainstay of the Portland bar scene. It's always a treat to meet your friends, grab one of those mason jars and leave your troubles behind you. Don't sleep on the food either!

One of my favorite spots to go with friends especially when the weather is nice and the patio is open

Excellent cocktails and snacks. Understaffed during a busy evening - one bartender for a full bar.

Wowza. So I don’t do reviews often, but after tonight’s experience I had to. I’m not sure if Swift is under new ownership, but the food we tried from the “new menu” was, well, awful. We got the loaded queso fries to start, then the five piece chicken that came with two sides, so we got the potato salad and baked beans. The fries and queso were underwhelming. We were huge fans of the fondue fries that were served before so this was a letdown. But the biggest letdown was the chicken, which used to be so, SO good. It. Was. Burned. Spent way too much time in the fryer. We can deal with crispy, but when the fry is so crispy that it cuts the inside of your mouth and makes an audible bang when you hit it on the table…yikes. The seasoning was also incredibly bland, so even what could possibly be redeemed by the flavor of crispy chicken skin was not. The sides were fine. We got our usual favorite cocktails that we’ve been getting for years, and they tasted watered down.

It breaks my heart to write this since Swift has been one of our favorite places for the better part of ten years, but I don’t see this place surviving much longer if it stays this way. In the land of dive bar chicken like the Reel M Inn, you gotta do better. Bottom line: if you must go to Swift, still go for the drinks I guess. But have several drinks before you eat the food if you want it to be semi enjoyable.

Felt the Nate's Chicken was a little too chewy, not undercooked but close and completely lacking crunch. $16 is not cheap either for two fried chicken cutlets and some frozen fries. Drinks were average, personally not a fan of the layout and inside area.

I used to come here very often. Loved the space and atmosphere.I was very discouraged with my recent visit mainly because one again their food menu changed they used fo have a very vegetarian/vegan friendly menu now all they have is greasy tots or fries. They took the beay item off the menu which was their Brussels.Still would do for a drink bit because I'm vegetarian and don't enjoy greasy food I'm never planning on having a meal but the bartenders are always so sweet so I'd also come back for that amazing customer service experience
