This is a super fun neighborhood bar in inner Northeast portland. They always have great music playing and frequently live DJs. The atmosphere is cozy / dive bar / cocktail lounge. Service is not great as the staff is a bit surly, but it goes with the crowd and overall vibe.
Went with my sisters and the lady seemed cool until I asked for a refill. I ordered the crispy pork chops w/ buttery grits. I’m sorry but that’s exactly what it was, crispy and black. Could barely cut it or eat. Not flavorful and the no love in the grits. I changed my order to chicken wings and fries and nice crisp but not flavorful either. The music was good though.
Swift is a true mainstay of the Portland bar scene. It's always a treat to meet your friends, grab one of those mason jars and leave your troubles behind you. Don't sleep on the food either!
