Even being short staffed you provided us with an excellent dining experience. Please add minibar dining points to my account (forgot to do it in the rush to get to lecture). Thanks in advance

Food was very good. It took a long time to get a drink in front of us, 15/20 min from sitting. Food came out promptly. We sat with dirty plate in front of us for 10 min or so with empty drink glasses. We starting to tall about getting another drink somewhere else. I think our server heard us and asked, if we would like another beverages. All in al, l I would go back and give a second chance. Service in restaurants is why I go out. I can do good food and make great beverages much cheaper myself at home.

Great little whiskey bar with a nice food selection. Had two cocktails, both were excellent. Going on to my repeat visit list.

Few drinks and 2 shots of 25 year old Pappy Van Winkle. Damn good send off.

Great old Portland bar. The most incredible choice of whiskeys I've ever seen. Good little sliders and what appeared to be great French fries.

All well prepared. We were a party of 8 meeting prior to a concert. We were pleased overall either the quality and convenience of this location. The steak was bit chewy but the bread pudding and canolli were amazing, not overly sweet.

First came here for my birthday and absolutely fell in love with the place. The whiskey taster boards are amazing. Did a Scotch flight and it was sublime. The staff are super knowledgeable and ask really great questions to get your tasting preferences and offer nice alternatives to try to help expand your palate. The food is awesome. I don't think you can go wrong here with anything on the menu. Simply fabulous. If you are unsure about the place come during their happy hour and ask questions. A couple people who were there for the first time almost a year ago were there again when I was there which says a lot to me. You could hear lots of people being called by name and it just felt as warm and inviting as it was the first time. Come here and enjoy the love these people put into this place. Feels from another time.

Unfortunately we chose to have a quick bite before a performance at the Schnitzer, and even with a reservation we had to wait for our table. Service was quite slow, second rounds of drinks came right before we needed to leave for the show. Items asked for during dinner never came. The restaurant was crowded with those going to the performance was it was very noisy, and was definitely understaffed for a pre-show crush. The meals were OK - timing in the kitchen was off as the one person who ordered the evening special had to wait for their meal while the others of us watched our food get cold. Burgers not cooked as promised - medium rare - but rather were well done. All in all not a great evening - and won't be back.

The food was good and the place was busy due to the concert that was about to start nearby. The waitress was great! Some other patrons were rude and she handled it adeptly. I would eat here again.

Went for dinner before a show at the Schnitzer. There were many diners at once and they handled it all very well. Staff were friendly and organized and food was very good. Our usual go to spot is Higgins which is high bar to meet but we would definitely go to Taylor Street Tavern again. Thanks!

Good drinks & bar food choices, as always impeccable service! Settled for Debra's standard Swine Old Fashioned, an Ecliptic Red Ale & the always great Parmesan Fries.
