I tried to Pho, but it specializes in bun bo huè. So the Pho is very.. starchy. Since I noticed on the bottom all of the noodles are stuck together in a bundle. So I had to dig and separate for 5 minutes. And the meat is very fatty but no meat on the parts. Some of them do but it’s mostly fat near the skin.. looks big but isn’t. And the broth turns into starchy broth with some of the actual broth flavor. Over all just get the Bun Bo huè.

Really good Bun Bo Hue! The portion was huge and packed with so much meat. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted very authentic — honestly reminded me of the Bun Bo Hue I had back in Vietnam. You can tell they don’t hold back on ingredients and the quality was great overall. Definitely a satisfying meal and a spot I would come back to again when craving authentic Vietnamese food.

This place is l has the best pho and bun bo hue I've had in Portland. I was astounded by how delicious it was. The blood cubes were the best I've had in the US. Couldn't recommend it higher, I'm a fan for life.

Visiting from Seattle, I was really looking forward to trying this Portland spot that specializes in bún bò Huế. Since the menu is very limited, with basically bún bò Huế plus beef and chicken pho, I expected the main dish to be well executed.

Unfortunately, the bún bò Huế was very disappointing. The broth tasted watered down and lacked the deep, spicy, savory flavor I expect from a good bowl. I had to add extra chili oil just to make it more enjoyable.

The bowl did come with a decent amount of sliced beef and a pork knuckle, but the chả felt like an afterthought — I only got one slice, which was disappointing for a dish where the toppings should feel more complete.

I was honestly surprised to see so many reviews calling this the best bún bò Huế they’ve ever had. Based on my experience, it did not live up to the hype at all. Everyone in my group who ordered the bún bò Huế felt the same way.

The decor is cute and the place has character, but the food itself was overrated. I would not come back.

I haven't been here in years and still had high expectations as one of the better BBH in the city. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and was instructed to choose our own seats.

Don't really need menus here since it's limited. Ordered two bowls of BBH and came out within 10 minutes. Broth came out hot, but the quality isn't as the same as before and was lacking that umami and on the bland side. Meat and tendons were tender. Good assortment of veggies on the side. My only gripe was $20.50/bowl feels pretty steep for what you get.

I have never and really enjoyed a Vietnamese meal until my girlfriend brought me here and showed me that I should dip and the meat every bite with a mixture of hoisin sauce and sriracha and eat that with noodles and broth. All that made it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. This was quality pho and a clean nice setting with a ton of (assumingly) Vietnamese customers. I had a pretty great experience with authentic good food.

Bun bo hue was excellent on my first visit, 2nd visit was less excellent, and 3rd visit was not good at all. Consistently excellent would be preferrable. Thank you.

Very few items on the menu but they sure know what they are doing. Authentic Bun Bo Hue that nails down the taste from Vietnam. Small and neat shop.

Absolutely incredible experience. The sign of a really good Vietnamese pho is how many old heads are there. And there were a lot. There's only three things on the menu. Because that's all you really need.
