The drink was great, but the food was frustrating... I was asked to choose a spice level and I chose spicy. I got zero heat, the chicken wasn’t even mild.
If you’re going to offer spice levels, the choice should be honored.
The curly fries are bomb (they are half-eaten in the picture). Wife liked her Boba drink a lot. Clean interior. Decent prices
Rude service
Ordered zero-sugar milk tea and it tastes like double sugar water with some milk. I am from Taiwan and this is nothing like the real bubble tea in Taiwan. The fried squid was tough to chew and covered with oil. Not recommended.
Giving this place a gracious 1 star, because I almost want to stop visiting based off the customer service.
If you ask any questions about their menu, or products, you’ll be met with a wonderful “gen-z” stare. The teenagers will stare at you and you’ll sit there and wait for them to get the information but it seems like it’s a really big deal for them to walk across the kitchen and check an ingredient related to an allergy.
Gen Z girl that works here is like, giving off major density. Find someone who isn’t pained to answer menu questions to run your counter.
My tea was great but it was a bad experience as a person who is hard of hearing.
The employees were very soft spoken.
I misheard a question and instead of repeating themselves to fix the miscommunication, I got a response that made me feel like they didn't want me in there anymore. I also didn't hear when they called my name (if they did? Again, I didn't hear) and allowed my drink to just sit on the counter until I looked up to see it waiting for me. I was the only one in the store at the time.
But on the plus side the Elegant Rose Tea is my new obsession, the perfect drink I needed for a lunch break on a super hot day!
Their food is great. The service is fast even though there's only 2 of them working with a lot of customers coming in..
The comparably more authentic bubble tea place in Portland, only Yifang and this place are close to the origin. Friendly services
I ordered without ice, but the staff gave me a drink with no sugar. When I told them, they gave me a new cup, but it was almost the same as the old one, with just a little ice. I suspect they poured the drink back into the new cup.
come here for amazing boba and service🙈

Slow service. Very slow. I am not sure why when the place wasn’t packed. There were only a handful of customers at 4pm. Cute little shop and the drinks were okay but not memorable. More than likely I will not go out of my way to come here again.
Taro is insane... chicken is top-notch. What a gem
Nice boba tea, but the popcorn chicken not fresh at all…
As a Taiwanese I felt sad.
Barely room temperature, not hot at all. Only nondairy milk is soy milk. It’s 40 deg and raining half the year here, hot drinks need to be hot.
I like how easy it is to customize a drink!
