Seriously delicious. Filled with flavor and clearly made with passion/care. I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood!

I tried this place today for a quick lunch and was back at my desk in the neighborhood within 10 minutes of ordering. I had the quesa tacos with al pastor and a side of rice and beans. Everything was delicious! The meat was super moist and the ratio of everything was perfect. I didn't take a photo because I was too excited to eat, and my coworkers commented on how good my lunch smelled. I tried the green and red (mild) salsas and experienced a lot of flavor without a lot of spice, which I appreciate. My husband is a vegetarian and I'm excited to bring him so he can try the veggie fajita burrito. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very nice.

I got the carne asada burrito and it was bland. Not bad not good. The chicken taco I got was okay to good. I would try the restaurant one more time but avoid the carne asada.

Great Birria, including tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. All served with beautifully spiced beef broth for dunking.

I stopped in for takeout lunch and got some tasty tacos and quesadillas. It was one of the best tasting birrias I've ever had in Portland and the consume was perfect. I loved how they grilled the cheese on the inside of the tacos to make them zing and have an extra bite. We got great service, and the staff was very friendly and considerate. I'm coming back often because the food was great.

Tried this place today since it was on our way home and I love good Mexican food and I can say this is definitely good. We got a chicken quesadilla, Al pastor taco, and the quesabirria tacos, loved it all! They were also very accommodating when I told them my partner has an onion intolerance and asked a lot of questions to make sure he was ok. The quesabirria consome was so good I can eat it like a soup, and I loved that they grilled the cheese onto the tortillas, added a lot of flavor and good crunch. The quesadilla had the perfect amount of cheese to meat ratio, and their green salsa was perfect for me as someone who doesn’t handle spicy food very well. Really looking forward to seeing them get settled in the space and trying more of their menu!
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options but they’re not labeled as such and no vegetarian protein options.
Dietary restrictions: We’re very accommodating and helpful when mentioned my partner has a onion intolerance
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get into the building that is not very steep at all on the corner of 14th and Lovejoy

New Mexican restaurant in the Pearl. We had lunch there last week and it was excellent. Give this startup a try and support local businesses! They’ve just opened so seating inside is as the owner said a work in progress- but that said very clean and tables were comfortable. They use real forks and knives so a big environmental plus over plastic one use ones.
Kid-friendliness: Mexican food!
