I enjoyed the lamb Kathi roll, the spices were on point and the naan bread soft and delicious. However, I was pretty shocked that it came only in tin foil. I would’ve expected it to be wrapped in paper and then tinfoil to make it easier to eat, and also prevent accidentally eating a piece of tinfoil, which is incredibly toxic.

Definitely my go to Indian food cart in north Portland, but the portion size and spice level can be highly inconsistent at times, and the price can be expensive, I try to order a couple of dishes and make them stretch. Sometimes I can easily, other times not so much, which is a bummer cause I really do love this cart. With a few tweaks it would go from good to outstanding. Still reccomend everyone to try them! Can’t go wrong with the biriyanis or the chili chicken - my go tos
So I used to love this food truck. Recommended it even. Tonight was such a disappointment. I should of known by the way the guy working was acting. The mango Lassi, straight milk. Not a hint on mango. Thin and gross. Complete waste of $10. Garlic Nann, usually great, was thin, burnt and literally torn full of holes. Chicken vindaloo came out like a weird ruby red color. I ordered it medium spice and it's completely blown my taste buds. Lamb marsala taste dry and over done. Serious let down. Now I know who to avoid if I do decide to come back. Hope things go back to their usual standards.

The food was delicious!
The low score comes solely from price. I ordered butter masala chicken but asked if they could add some veggies. Otherwise, this dish had no veggies. Plus a Diet Coke and 18% tip, the price was $27.00. I thought part of the appeal of food carts was good food at lower prices because of the decreased overhead. For this cost, a brick and mortar is superior to me, every time.

The guy taking my order was nice and helpful. The food is not worth going back. I ordered saag paneer and vegetable korma. The saag is brown and the paneer was not fresh. The korma was very sweet and mostly sauce not vegetable. I won’t be going back.
