This is my favorite Chinese food in all of Portland! When you walk up to the truck you see the older couple working hard, and are met with friendliness and warmth as they take your order and start working on it. They always make sure they got the order correct, and the food is always spectacular. We regularly order the lo mein, general tao's, orange chicken, broccoli beef, and crab puffs. Truly the best! I love that they have combo meals too, most Chinese restaurants only have family style portions of each item. The combo meals are still great portions! I can't recommend Tan's Happy Kitchen enough!

Tans has great food.. the wonton soup is amazing.. I drove truck for years and wonton soup has always been a favorite of mine.. point being is I've had it from places from coast to coast and tans has the best I've ever had.. plentiful and delicious! Hope you open back up soon

I recently had the pleasure of trying this food truck for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The flavors were exquisite, and the portions were generous, even for someone with a hearty appetite like myself. The food truck itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They even took the time to ask if I needed any assistance, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be returning to this food truck in the future.
