If you don’t like this place, you really just don’t like family style Mexican food. The owners are terrific people. The food is just great. I think we got lunch for four for 40 bucks or something and I don’t know what else you want for a neighborhood, family owned Mexican joint this is terrific

I received a recommendation to try this restaurant by a clerk in a nearby tienda so I walked over to check out the place.

Definitely a strip mall / locals in the know vibe. The counter guy was friendly and answered my questions. He recommended the carnitas taco but I think I should have tried the Pollo instead.

Ordered a queso birria, a carne asada and a carnitas taco. No consomme broth was included in the order which was dissapointing.

I ordered the huevos rancheros to go. It was a huge meal with rice and beans a little avocado and sour cream. The rice was well flavored. The beans were good and I really like the sauce. The meal came with extra tortillas, you can choose flour or corn, and two sauces one green one red. I really like the green, it tasted fresh.
