THE TICKLER. My favorite deli sandwich shop in Portland! I’m from Chicago and know a thing about a good Italian sub. The famous tickler scratches the itch quite well. Their meat tastes great and the bread has just the right amount of crunch. Buy the big one and have another meal. Reasonably priced & friendly service with a smile too.

Best subs in Portland! For me the fresh gooey bread is what sets them apart. Hard to believe that there is a Subway two blocks away that stays in business when Taste Tickler makes sandwiches which are so much fresher, more filling, and tastier.

Badass sandwiches. Was in Portland for four days and had them twice. Theyre not the fastest but surely worth the wait.....definitely will return next time I'm in town.
