Tea & Tea (Alberta St | Portland)

I love bubble tea , I’ve been here a couple times before and haven’t had too many problems . This time I walked to Tea & tea craving a bubble tea in 80 degree weather. I was super disappointed when I got on the bus just to taste the nastiest mini bobas I’ve ever tasted I mean it ruined my whole drink . It tasted like the bobas sat in the sink for 24hours with no proper care. Of course I wasn’t going back it’s hot outside . Super disappointed.

Yum! Hot day + T&T slush = 🤤😃. Didn't need any sweater or boba for mine. Very good and cold.

Our second time in TNT and our second time where they didn’t have the item we wanted to buy (Tiger Waffle) also even our second choice (a blended tea, I forgot what my daughter chose) item wasn’t available. The item that we did end up picking (Mango Strawberry iced tea) was bitter and did not taste good.

Amazing quality, lots of options for flavors and toppings, including multiple different ice cream waffles options. Highly recommend!

Really underwhelmed by this locations tea. I’ve been to the other Portland location many times and I’ve always been happy, but this location didn’t make the best drinks.

My friend got an iced matcha that was really bitter and a little grainy. She didn’t even finish it. I got a jasmine milk tea that was also really bitter. It had very little jasmine flavor and sweetness, even though I ordered it with full sweetness. It tasted like just milk and tea with no flavor.

I love tea and tea usually but this experience was pretty bad. I hope it was just this once and not the location as a whole, but for seven dollars I’m hoping for a tea that I actually want to finish.

Friendly staff, enjoyed reading all the signs on the wall! The Thai tea was really good ! Would come back here !

Got a blended avocado with boba. The blended smoothy was delicious but the boba themselves did not deliver. I was concerned as I often find chains just don’t get the boba right. And I think I was right.
They are not sweet, taste bland, and are slightly firm in the middle.
If the quality of the boba is important to you I would try somewhere else.

best boba on alberta and my fave in portland. never have had any problems with service or atmosphere, but never have seen them go above and beyond either.
