One of my favorite spots to get tea in Portland! I usually go for a rose matcha, but just about everything I've had here is delicious. I wish they'd bring back the mochi donuts!

The vibes are immaculate, only surpassed by the delicious jasmine boba tea. Yum yum yum!

I wanted to love this place but it really fell short for me. What's good is that all their teas are brewed on the spot (similar to Chi Cha for my SoCal folks). I had the green tea with boba and it tasted super watery, barely any tea. If you look at my picture, you can see how translucent it looks because of how much water is in it. It also tasted very bland almost like there wasnt any sugar. The boba was okay but was on the harder side. The interior of this place was very clean and modern with plenty of seating. Parking can be a challenge since there was very limited street parking on a rainy day.

This place is so cute! The tea is lovely and it's never too busy. It would be great to hangout and work from.

The tea was strong but not very balanced. The boba pearls were also not soft or flavorful. The drink was way overpriced and quite small. Definitely not worth it, it's like a whitewashed version of boba that doesn't taste as good.

Love this cute, airy tea bar! the menu is extensive and they have fun offerings plus seasonal flavor profiles. My favorite is the sparkling cardamom chai - it's fresh, slightly sweet with the right amount of chai essence. can't wait to come back to try their updated seasonal menus

What a great tea cafe on Division! Tea Bar is a modern, chic cafe serving high-quality, made-to-order teas including lattes, matcha, and boba. A lot of their ingredients are natural, local, and organic, which also explains the higher price point. This location has plenty of seating, large windows, lot of natural light - perfect for working from home or getting some studying done. They also have a few tables outside - perfect as the summer weather rolls around. I got one of their seasonal drinks - strawberry milk matcha with coconut milk. The fresh strawberry was refreshing and sweet, balancing well with the matcha. They have cute glass jars for dine-in use! Service was friendly and they were patient with me as I decided what to order and offered to answer questions. With the fair share of coffee shops in Portland, don't overlook the tea we have to offer!

This place has really changed, in a sad way.I’ve been going to Tea Bar for a decade or more, I have spent a lot of quality time here and I’ve also brought every visiting friend and family member here and everyone has loved it. I loved it for a long time, but it has declined very badly in the past couple of years and not because of the pandemic. The last seven (7) times I have gone, they have made my drink (something right off the menu) incorrectly: either the flavor was wrong, the temperature, the milk, or somehow the whole drink itself. But they really don’t care. Several of these times I mentioned the problem, but they did not make any attempt to fix the mistake or offer me another beverage. They shrugged it off, suggesting they would “fix it next time” for me, so I had no option but to leave unhappy. So you’re asking now, why did I keep going back? Because we had good history, because of their relationship with the tea farmers, because of the quality I trusted for so long, and because I thought these events were random. I was willing to stick it out but not anymore. They stopped being friendly too, and in most of those recent visits, no one spoke to me at all. No one greeted me or exchanged any words, which is incredibly surreal and off-putting. Not even while ordering. Just completely blank stares, blank people. It’s disappointing. But … nothing lasts forever, and I’m sure I can find matcha elsewhere in this city, where the employees aren’t actively trying to drive customers away.Goodbye, Tea Bar.

The bee pollen matcha should be a regular menu item, it is simply fantastic! The service was amazing and the ambiance is truly comforting. The division branch of Tea Bar is the best!

@teabar in divisionThis place is fantastic! The atmosphere is bright and airy, which I love. They offer an extensive variety of teas, so it took me a while to pick one. Plus, they also serve donuts! In particular, I believe this place is an ideal spot for anyone looking to enjoy some peace and quiet. They have a lengthy bar-style table located right behind the front window, which is perfect for solo relaxation or focused work.[Menu]-Mango jasmine tea w.boba-Jasmine boba tea-Macha donut4330 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97206Close at 6pm

Atmosphere is young, hip, clean with a modern aesthetic. But service was so. so. so. SLOW. The two teas we tried were delicious so we'll def be back, but Christ why was there just one girl manning the whole place?? Too busy and centralized location to have only 1 worker while 4+ people wait in line for close to 15 min.

This is such a beautiful and simply designed Tea Bar. Great space to do homework, telework, or even chit chat with friends.Prices were resemble and each drink was made to order with a smile. I am grateful to have spent time here in the morning. Oh and the matcha was delicious!

My experience today was somewhat disappointing. Walked in and no one greeted me. I said hello to the clerk, who didn't smile, only responded with an expressionless "what can I get you?". As soon as the tip option came up they turned and walked away without a word. I said thanks - no response. When my drink came, I said thanks again - no response, just walked away. They did have time to laugh it up with their buddy at the bar.The tea was excellent. But they made me feel completely unwelcome.
