Huge selection and clear menu. Many things can be purchased to make at home and their packaging is incredible. If you loved Townsend's before they closed (On Division, trendy N. PO and on Montavilla) you will be soothed by this place. The decor in here is similar but lower in quality to what Townsend's had going on. The menu is very similar and possibly even larger. The location on 23rd is up a large staircase.
I drove nearly an hour on a Saturday afternoon to check out the boba tea at Portal Tea Company. The tea house was out of boba when we got there, so we had to wait around 40 minutes for our drinks while they made more boba. It was fine, however, because we weren’t in a hurry.
