Our most popular sandwich! Brined chicken breast are dredged in our spicy flour mix and then crispy fried to a golden brown. Served on a pub bun over a bed of lettuce, and topped with caramelized onion, poblano mayo, Texisauce, and pico.

The Texicano bowl was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and was obviously made with love. On top of that, the service was delightful and the wait was low (even though they were freshly preparing the steak with my meal) If you find yourself in the Hawthorne Asylum food carts, absolutely give them a try!

My carne asada sandwich was SO good. I was worried the meat might not tear apart easily and that wasn't the case at all. It was still pink, tender, and fell right apart when I bit into it. I added the texi verde sauce and I was super happy I did. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. The whole thing was AMAZING. 10/10 I will be eating here again.

This is one of the best food carts at Hawthorne Asylum. They have so many options and delicious things on the menu to get. I keep coming back for the Tacos Locos and Twxicano bowl(get it with a side of avocado and throw it in the bowl. Highly recommend this place over everything else if you can’t decide on what to eat! You’ll be filled up and the food is soo delicious.
