What an incredible place. I've never been to a jazz bar, so this was definitely a first. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was absolutely incredible. The performers were outstanding, the service was A1, and the cocktails were outstanding. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great night!

Went for a jazz band. Great atmosphere, service was impeccable. I'm looking forward to the next one. We ate beforehand, but everyone else's food looked good and had empty plates at the end.

This place has gotten a serious downgrade. I came here awhile back and was lucky enough to eat their truffle pizza and other type of pizza. I came here last week and was surprised to see them dishing out slices which look like they could have been from Costco and charging $5-$6 dollars per slice. Their garlic knots came out way too crispy. They charge you for ranch and marinara too. Overpriced food and overpriced drinks. The music is the only thing this place has left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE! You can go to hot lips pizza and get better tasting pizza for half the price.

I order a slice of pizza and it was pretty good. The ? was terrific. They had a live band and outdoor seating. If you love jazz you'll love this bar. I'm coming back just for the ?.

The best jazz club in Portland! The new owners have brought new life to this fabulous venue. The musicians are outstanding, the food is great, and the intimate atmosphere inviting. I've had date nights here, girlfriend meet-ups, and attended alone and have never been disappointed.
Parking: Arrive early for the best street parking. The 1905 is on a side street off of Mississippi Ave so it can take a minute to find parking sometimes.

I went here with a group size of 6! I loved the outdoor patio, food was good, and enjoyed the indoor jazz space. It was quite a neat ambience. I would definitely recommend getting tickets way in advance so you can snag seats at the tables rather than bar area. My parents had trouble viewing a jazz pianist starring the night we went from the bar stools.

1905 is my favorite local spot! Would give 6 stars if I could. The food is amazing & the owner, Chris, is wonderful. Their bolognese is the best I’ve ever had!!!
