So beyond thrilled the 1905 is open once again, under fresh management, and with a fantastic crew! Same wonderful intimate jazz club vibes. Delicious and straightforward menu, love the pizza by the slice. Appreciate the well-curated drink menu, to include excellent alcohol free options. The music speaks for itself, the talent at 1905 is top notch. It’s a true gem in Portland, my favorite music venue here by far, what a special place. So thankful the 1905 is BACK!!

Great venue, small enough to really enjoy the live music. Food was good staff was nice. Will be going back. The 1905 has been temporarily closed, but a new group will be reopening in the coming weeks March-April 2024 ? Per the Portland Mercury. We miss you guys, can't wait to see you soon.

Order on the app as you arrive. It takes a while to get your drink/food order. Sit toward the kitchen on cooler nights. The door opening and closing let's in the cool night air. Very quaint venue for an intimate jazz evening.

I finally got the chance to go to this Portland staple, The 1905, and I can see why everyone praises this venue for jazz and simple yet delicious food. The show was so fun to watch, with a very cozy stage and atmosphere focused on the music. Alongside this, the drink options were plentiful and delicious. I loved the food as well, with fresh pizza and pasta you can see being made in the kitchen just a few feet away. I cannot recommend this place enough, and it is without a doubt one of the best venues I've been to for Jazz (was actually the first time I saw live Jazz!!).When I think about my favorite places to go in Portland, The 1905 will be on that list.

The wife and I shared her birthday here, and I was amazed at the quality of the food. Appetizer Brussel Sprouts, sliced pizza, and a Mushroom Pasta dish, and everything was so good. Service was quick and easy to order. We can't wait to return, and plz don't let me forget that the music of Micheal R's quartet was off the charts...

Great intimate jazz club. The indoor club seats approximately 50 people max. There is a lovely patio for outdoor eating when the weather is nice. Very good food- pizza, pasta, salads (do not skip the delicious Brussels sprouts), and excellent cocktails. The music was first rate, just a fantastic experience! I can’t wait to come back again!

I love The 1905! It is such a fun place to hear great jazz while eating some tasty food and drinking some truly well crafted drinks! I have been there twice. Both times were a huge success. Ordering food on the app makes it easy to get your food and drinks during the show without talking (interrupting the musicians).
