This place is great, it has the feel of a small neighborhood bar but their selection is awesome. They have both great beers on tap and a huge selection of bottles in the back that you can drink right there. The majority is directly imported from Belgium or local inspired Belgium beers. It's a must stop if your in Portland
I visited on Belgian beer day, and they were so busy that I didn't get to try a Belgian flight... The beers and chips we had were delicious, but it was disappointing not to be able to partake of the event menu because they were understaffed. I'll still go back, and I've had great experiences here before with knowledgeable counter people serving delicious and unique brews from around the world... Maybe just a little more planning for the next big event?

The beer...if you like Belgium beer get here! Wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Abbey before hitting Cinema 21 and it totally fulfilled our gastrointestinal and beer wants and needs. Simple but elegant food, thee best beer and an atmosphere that respects privacy and nuance. Fried Brussel sprouts rule!
