This place is great, it has the feel of a small neighborhood bar but their selection is awesome. They have both great beers on tap and a huge selection of bottles in the back that you can drink right there. The majority is directly imported from Belgium or local inspired Belgium beers. It's a must stop if your in Portland
It was OK. The tap list was super hard to read. I was hoping for more standard Belgian beers. A lot of them were really esoteric.
I visited on Belgian beer day, and they were so busy that I didn't get to try a Belgian flight... The beers and chips we had were delicious, but it was disappointing not to be able to partake of the event menu because they were understaffed. I'll still go back, and I've had great experiences here before with knowledgeable counter people serving delicious and unique brews from around the world... Maybe just a little more planning for the next big event?
Great beer selection (eg trappistes rochefort). Good bar staff. Needs to up the comfort levels.
Amazing Belgian beers. Try the onion soup it's really nice.
The Abbey is my favorite beer bar in portland. They always have wonderful Belgian been on draft and 100s of bottles. If you like Belgian Beer, this is the place for you!
Superb Belgium beer selection. Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere.
They have a great selection of Belgian beers and feature Belgian beers on tap. Belgian beer lovers know that this is not extremely common in the US.
Best beer in Portland because, unlike the rest of the city, it's not a giant pile of IPA.
Daniel was an amazing bartender, was just there for work but I really had a great time and. They had a great selection!!

Love this place. Fantastic atmosphere, great bottle selection, and wonderful drafts. Can't wait to go back.
My wife and I went into the Abbey for the first time recently, and the bartender, Daniel, really made us feel welcome. Really knowledgeable about the beer and gave the place a really warm vibe. They also have beers on tap that I haven't seen elsewhere. We'll certainly be back soon!
Good place. Great beers, lambics, guezds, ciders, Petrie's and ales. Highly recommend.
Great selection of Belgian beers
We we're the only people in the place, but got to bring our golden retriever inside! 6 beers on tap and many bottle options. Small town vibe with friendly bartenders.
