Love this old gem. It used to be called the patriot I think. Still holding it down with drinks and vibe . Not a dive bar and not too upscale . Perfectly in the middle.

Nice patio, good cocktail and beer selection, friendly bartenders, nice prices. Really nice neighborhood spot.
Just had drinks here. I got their play on bees knees (gin) with honey miso syrup. It was perfect for a sunny day. I loved that the drink came in a very chilled glass. It still had some frost on it!
Inside is spacious and great for all group sizes. There was outdoor seating as well

Definitely a spot for regulars. Solid drinks, interesting specials.
First off, those Brussel sprouts are way better than they have any right to be. Flavorful and perfectly caramelized. So pleasantly surprised! The nachos were great too and layered well. Had a great old fashioned and the bartender was very nice.
Love this neighborhood bar. Minors allowed till 9pm. Great food, always awesome burgers, $7 beers and the bartenders are always very nice. Highly recommend! Cozy atmosphere too and they show sports.
The Automatic was my neighborhood bar for several years, and even after leaving the neighborhood, I still come back, because it's worth it. The atmosphere is consistently great, the staff are all excellent, and the drinks are really damn good.
Love the ambience and the drinks. The bartenders were friendly but the food is straight up terrible. Burger meat has no tastes whatsoever, burger size were too small and fries were tasteless as well.

Great vibes and great food. Kids welcome during the day. Stopped in for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Definitely feels like a locals/neighborhood pub. Very friendly service at the bar and the chef even came out to explain why our order was slightly delayed and get the pretzel we ordered out first (hungry kids!). Love the atmosphere here ... great people-watching from the window booths and our 10 year old loved the old school arcade game. Cozy spot for January afternoon. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, the Reuben, mac and cheese and the soup of the day. All yummy. Tasted like good home cooking.
Husband and I are doing Dry January, but the drink menu and taps looked tempting. 10/10 would come here again.
Great vibes. Super chill. Good music. Great drinks. Great for dates.
Fried chicken natchos who could ask for anything more! Cold drinks and great attentive staff
The Automatic is a lively neighborhood bar that’s perfect for casual hangouts with friends. They offer a solid selection of mixed drinks alongside affordable beer options, making it a great spot for a laid-back night out. The atmosphere is energetic, with sounds bouncing off the walls, so it’s definitely not the place for an intimate or romantic vibe.
I tried the Hot Toddy and the Moscow Mule, and both drinks were well-crafted and enjoyable. One downside is the parking—it can be tricky to find a spot in this area, so plan accordingly. Overall, The Automatic delivers on good drinks, a fun vibe, and a great setting for catching up with friends.
