I was here like 7 months ago. It was awesome. I'd be here more often if I could. I want to give a shout out to the staff for (1) not allowing racism and (2) actively calling it out. Way to go for responding to negative reviews by racists ✊ ps. The food and drinks were good as well as the overall vibe

Great local watering hole.
I appreciate the bartenders that work here so much!
bartender's girl friend tried to fight me for no reason. I couldn't believe my eyes when she jumped up and tried to verbally and physically attack me. Bartender did nothing about it. Can't believe any proper establishment would employ someone that allows their girlfriend to be there fighting with paying customers.
Great staff, great beer and drink selection, cool atmosphere

This was such a cool bar! Fred and I stopped for these very large cider and ipa. The bar maid was super nice and super quick for a refill . They have board games imbedded in the tables clue. Chess, life, ext. Fred and I will love coming back for some more drinks and games.

Adorable little tavern situated in a historic barroom in front of an old home in the Buckman district. It’s owned by the same person that owns B-Sides, so I had high hopes, but I must admit I was blown away. The drink prices are just as cheap as B-Sides ($3 PBR, $5 well drinks) but without the divey atmosphere. And they have GOOD CHEAP FOOD! If you’re going out and forgot to have dinner, get the Tikka Masala. No bar food I've yet had compares, and it's only $10!The back patio is a nice spot to get away from the noise, if you don’t mind cigarette smoke. And the fish tank could keep me occupied for hours, if it wasn't right in front of where people line up for the bar.Overall, if you like cheap beer and a laid back atmosphere, but sometimes find dive bars a little too dingy or sad, this is your spot!
Vegetarian options: There is a soy curl variant of the Tikka Masala as well. I didn’t pay attention to the rest of the menu
