Have been here a couple of times. Always go for the fish and chips. The food was just okay. They've changed the menu. The fish was very dry and instead of them giving you a nice portion of cod or halibut you get 4 small burnt fish fingers. The Brussels sprouts were so over-seasoned with dressing they were swimming and couldn't finish them. They cook the flatbread at the bar in front of you and burnt it twice. The bar was dead and so was the conversation.

This little bistro in the hotel is really good, the fish and chips is probably the best I’ve ever had. Service is great ,and not crazy crowded. You really wouldn’t know this a restaurant. This is a great place to eat even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

I stay in a lot of hotels. And generally not a big fan of Courtyard dining. It’s usually ok, but nothing special. But tonight it was different…. In a good way. The staff was prompt, friendly, and attentive. And tonight they offered a Fish & Chips that was the best meal I’ve had at a Courtyard Hotel. It was hot, tasty, and a large portion. Overall, a nice experience.

Steve is just the best bartender you could imagine at a hotel bar. The guy rocks. He genuinely makes the best margarita I've ever had at a Courtyard bar. The food is what you would expect for food at a Courtyard.

Stayed at the Marriott Hotel which houses the Bistro for two weeks. I ate here frequently. Honestly, the best part of the dining experience for me was the guy behind the bar, Steven. Super nice guy that seemingly remembers what repeated customers like to order, their names, etc. He makes you feel welcomed and part of the family there.
Great food! But the magic is in the quality of people working there!

I totally loved this place. Its a recent find for me as I have only recently had PDX added to my patch and now have cause to travel there regularly. Airport food can be very hit and miss but this place hits the spot. The lady that served me was really nice and funny - Its nice to have a positive interaction like that - especially that early in the morning. The food is well prepared and presented and the menu has something for everyone. If you need brekkie in PDX this is the place to go.

The burger was delicious and came out fairly quick. I would definitely eat here again and try something different.

After checking in I needed a quick bit to eat and it nice to see a Marriott with a restaurant and bar. The menu is limited but you’re sure to find something good. I got the chicken wings and they were hot and tasty. Couldn’t resist the black cherry old fashioned, very good. Excellent service from the bartender.

When the local nearby places are lacking, The Bistro in Courtyards provides decent and consistent meal options.

Hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. However, the hotel is dated and in need of a refresh. The bathroom was split with the toilet and shower in the bathroom and the sink in the hotel room. You could just tell that it was tired and a bit worn from all the people coming and going through the airport. Until a renovation happens I would likely stay somewhere else in the future.
