It was my mother in laws 86th birthday dinner and we all arrived for 6:00 reservation in which we received notification the night before to confirm. We showed up with the doors locked and the employee at the front desk said they closed for good last Friday. So they are not even in business anymore! We went into thr bar to eat as they used to have many of the same items from the 990 Steakhouse but no longer, the food was terrible. Ordered a hot toddy and they did not have hot water-seriously would not recommend going here.
Some of the best food in Beaverton, and probably a better steak than 99% of the local steakhouses. Salads were great, duck fat fries excellent, and steaks cooked perfectly. Background music was yacht rock, perfect for the ambiance. Being in a hotel from the 60's/70's, the smoke stench was prevalent in the lobby, the furniture updates slightly from its Shilo days. Got to to give it a try though, you won't be disappointed!
Nice out of the way spot. Service and atmosphere were great. Food was mediocre, especially for the price. Drinks were great though. I'd go back, but it won't be my first choice in dining destinations.
Our steak arrived on a cold plate. The steak itself was gray on the outside and slightly overcooked on the inside. The side potatoes were just barely underdone and the sauce was flavorless. There was barely any salt on any of the food. The service was good. Overall a one and done experience for us - skip this place.
This would be a five-star review except for the location. The motel is obviously older, and parking is very difficult. We were forced to walk a considerable distance uphill from the lower parking lot since there was no parking available at the street level. Otherwise, all of the aspects of the restaurant, including food and service, were outstanding.
Service and food were both very good. If I had not read reviews and knew it was in a hotel I would not have found it. I did not see any signage. Ambiance is not much, but more importantly value food and service were all very good.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. They definitely could do better by adding more Gluten free options to the menu.
The food was good, though I wish there was an alternative steak butter that does not include blue cheese. Possibly garlic butter. Drink order was not good, martini made incorrectly and served in an incorrect glass.
The Chamber at 9900 is a fantastic spot to relax with a good cigar. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is great too. My only suggestion is that they could expand their cigar selection. Other than that, it’s a top-notch lounge experience!
This was an exceptionally great restaurant in an unassuming location. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the wait staff was very attentive and charming. I only wish the interior was a little more inviting and kept up with the detail of the platings from the chef. Maybe if the fireplace had been working, it would've added something. I don't mind a retro steakhouse vibe, but the room was lacking decorations to make it more appealing for a date night situation. The yellow glow from the overhead chandeliers don't provide much light, so perhaps at least candles on the tables would help or a few well placed strands of twinkle lights would work wonders for the ambiance. Getting back to the food, it was definitely 5 star! Beet salad was incredible and our steaks were amazing!

I really enjoy this place to unwind and relax. Super great food!
Fantastic place
Nice establishment with good food, a good selection of Drinks and Cigars, but I'll let the price of my receipt do the talking. About $45 for a Ashton ESG, $20 for the meal, and $35 for the single Dram of Whiskey, plus $10 tip. When I can get an entire bottle for the price of a few glasses of what they served me, and 2 ESGs for the same price, I'd rather have a personal bar and lounge in my own home. Definitely worth visiting for something special but you won't be leaving with your wallet.
Don't let the location of this restaurant stop you from going. The service was fantastic and the food was really really good. Our group had some of the beef dishes, the salmon dish and the pasta dish. We also had the duck fat fries, the shrimp cocktail and salads. Everything was delicious! The ambience is a little dated but we looked past that and had a great evening. We'll be back.
Great food, drinks, and cigars!
