The Chamber at 9900 is a fantastic spot to relax with a good cigar. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is great too. My only suggestion is that they could expand their cigar selection. Other than that, it’s a top-notch lounge experience!
This was an exceptionally great restaurant in an unassuming location. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the wait staff was very attentive and charming. I only wish the interior was a little more inviting and kept up with the detail of the platings from the chef. Maybe if the fireplace had been working, it would've added something. I don't mind a retro steakhouse vibe, but the room was lacking decorations to make it more appealing for a date night situation. The yellow glow from the overhead chandeliers don't provide much light, so perhaps at least candles on the tables would help or a few well placed strands of twinkle lights would work wonders for the ambiance. Getting back to the food, it was definitely 5 star! Beet salad was incredible and our steaks were amazing!
I really enjoy this place to unwind and relax. Super great food!
Fantastic place
Nice establishment with good food, a good selection of Drinks and Cigars, but I'll let the price of my receipt do the talking. About $45 for a Ashton ESG, $20 for the meal, and $35 for the single Dram of Whiskey, plus $10 tip. When I can get an entire bottle for the price of a few glasses of what they served me, and 2 ESGs for the same price, I'd rather have a personal bar and lounge in my own home. Definitely worth visiting for something special but you won't be leaving with your wallet.
Don't let the location of this restaurant stop you from going. The service was fantastic and the food was really really good. Our group had some of the beef dishes, the salmon dish and the pasta dish. We also had the duck fat fries, the shrimp cocktail and salads. Everything was delicious! The ambience is a little dated but we looked past that and had a great evening. We'll be back.
Great food, drinks, and cigars!
We had a wonderful time. The food and service were excellent. Personally, my ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and the buttermilk mash potatoes were heavenly. We can not recommend this place enough.
Drinks were great! The old fashioned and daquiri were awesome. The place has an odd smell. There was nearly no one there. The steaks were expensive so we didn't order them. Everything else was cheaper and though better than the norm weren't outstanding. It's in an old very updated hotel. Our table had a great view of the hotel pool which is odd.
Stopped in to watch the NBA finals. Very nice cigar lounge. Lexi took care of us. I only have one gripe. The cigar selection was pretty limited for a cigar lounge. Other than that, service was outstanding. My experience was enjoyable. I will definitely return.

We visited due to an MSN article on the best steakhouses in Portland. It was ranked 3rd, above all the chain restaurants and even local favs. The ribeye cam out cold. They fixed it but by then, my wife had already finished her meal. In all, it's a good steak but certainly not worthy of outranking the others on the list. The restaurant is in the Best Western. Which is odd for a steakhouse with $50 ribeyes, but going downtown isn't a pleasant experience anymore either. Not much diversity on their menu but we knew that. We both agreed, it's good, but not fantastic.
Absolutely a must to experience. If you are a cigar and whiskey/bourbon connoisseur, you would enjoy... the smoke and recycle air dor me is not the best but a should try once . RENEE THE BARKE3P IS PHENOMENAL. STAY HEALTHY. THANK YOU?
Great food- steak and salmon, duck fat fries, ceviche style prawns. All Staff really made us feel welcomed. Yummy desert, brownie with a scoop of ice cream. Thank you for a lovely evening!
This place really is a hidden gem. We celebrated our anniversary there and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent: from the perfectly dressed Caesar salad (yummy croutons, bacon pieces to die for) to the superb steaks (rib eye and filet--both cooked exactly as ordered) with potatoes and asparagus, finishing with cheesecake and a warm brownie with ice cream, accompanied with freshly brewed coffee, we could not help but devour everything! Our server was very attentive but not intrusive, and service was prompt but not rushed. One caution: you may require assistance getting out the door after such a satisfying dinner experience.
My husband had the salmon, and I had the lamb pasta special. Both were fabulous. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, careful and caring. We ended with desert that I would go back for again. A delightful evening.
