The Civic Taproom and Bottle Shop

The draft selection is sorta limited so be sure to peruse the bottles and cans. Concrete, steel, and glass are the environs. No food, so I recommend the egg puff waffle from 22 Below and the microgreens salad from The Soop.

Great selection of craft beer and ciders both on tap and in the fridge! Really friendly staff and a great location if youre heading to Providence Park!

Great place for game day. Pretty sure bartender, Jordan, I think? Gets high on his own supply... Entertaining enough, but the service is terrible. Its Portland, though, so I guess thats expected? Just go to one of the dive bars if you've come all this way. This place is empty unless there is a game. That tells you something about what the locals think.

SW locals are so lucky to have Civic in our backyard!! The staff and owner are all so nice and welcoming, and treat regulars like family. They stock great brews and there’s something for everyone, not to mention a killer take-home beer and wine selection that is literally UNMATCHED. The vibe is always wonderful in here, it feels like an extension of my living room (with the added bonus that they will literally air ANYYY sports game you ask for!!). And the rainbow menu for pride month?! Couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood spot. ??

Police need to be called to this location. the bartender is radically and actively drunk all the time and very violent to patrons. I would urge people to ask for the surveillance cams when they visit. The owner just sits there while drinks are being slammed by an angry bartender. God bless America. Go to the Kingston, the commodore, the Marathon. DONT spend your money here. I'm not the only one who has felt this way. We are humble people and want to support local business. But not these guys. I watched the bartender slam this queer friendly person for wanting to watch her teams match and the bartender literally asker her "What are you going to do for it?" to have him give her a screen of her favorite team. GROSS! These guys are already done, but let's cancel this culture out of our neighborhood STAT!!

Not only was the bar tender friendly, but so were the customers…what a warm, friendly and inviting place to is bar is…and that’s before we talk about the huge range of drinks. The beer slider is a great place to start.
