The patty melt with au jus and bacon... oh my... magnifique!!! Then their fries... so good. I didn't have beer on this visit. However, I did on my previous visit. Lots of options. The staff are super nice and cool.

Called in to go order took the order called back to add ranch took that order then 15 minutes later called me back and said they didn’t know the kitchen was closed that they hadn’t seen a customer in an hour supposedly and they shut the entire restaurant down an hour before their listed closing time. Too bad there’s not a zero star rating.

Had the happy hour cocktail- tasted like watered down tequila. Maybe that was the idea behind the drink but I was hoping for something sweeter. Ahi steak slider was great except the Wasabi melted my face off.Fries were good though!

One of the few sports bars around Portland with a good food menu, good drink selection, and an expanse of TVs viewable from virtually every seat.Service can be slow and last time I was in, I ordered Buffalo Trace, but got served something else (tasted like Knob Creek). Wasn’t given the itemized receipt, only the CC signature copy, so I’ll never know for sure… but I’m 99% it wasn’t Buff Trace. Either way, I’m not about to send back a poured glass of bourbon, because my pretension has its limits. Just always seems to be one or two reasons the staff give me every visit which keeps me from giving them a 5/5. They’re friendly as all hell though.

The front desk clerk at a Pearl District hotel suggested The Fields, and what a great recommendation! We went Saturday afternoon for drinks and the chicken flautas after arriving from Los Angeles, and returned for Sunday brunch (bacon sammy and Sunriver cocoa stout are to die for) and the AFC championship game. The bartenders Jules and Lincoln were friendly professionals, and we loved talking with locals who were great about welcoming newcomers and offering suggestions of what to do/see/eat. Hope to be back soon and will definitely come back to The Fields!

Great staff and fun vibe for a football game or just a week day drink.
All I can see is the food is wonderful because I've had food delivered to me from this restaurant before... But when ordering from this restaurant I found that they are lacking in the customer service department because I was not notified that there wasn't an item on the menu anymore that was ordered although they took the order on the phone as if the item was still there in which that small discrepancy made them cancel out my order all together. Nonetheless it's almost so ridiculously easy to fix by calling my phone number and letting me know What was up so we could have fixed the issue very easily and I could still get my food, they did not do that. It has upset me to the point where I just will not order food from here anymore even though it's really good place to eat but I just can't stand when ridiculous things happen like this.

This was my first time there. The service was okay. Maybe it was me or maybe because I had other things to do but I didn't get to comfortable. Maybe next time. But overall it was okay. Update 01/05/24. I went in during happy hour. The service was very prompt and my server Brad was very professional. The food was good and tasty. Next time I will try something else on the menu. Oh, and I got to watch some NBA games on the televisions that they have there.

New to the area, I was in search of a place to catch the Ducks game, and stumbled upon this gem. The service was quick and attentive (thanks Remy!). 10/10 recommend for game
