Great food and service! A very electric place that is a good choice for meet ups with friends. Cozy and comfortable whether you choose to sit indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious! Really enjoyed the crab cakes, brussel sprouts, and cherry crumble with vanilla bean ice cream! So delicious!

Came to fireside tonight with my boyfriend, without a reservation. When we arrived, no hostess was there but a busser, I believe, asked us how many and if we had a reservation. We replied two people and no we do not have a reservation. The hostess then walks up and the busser hands her the menus and says, “two people, no reservation, I don’t have time for this, you take them.”
My bf and I were flabbergasted that was their response. It felt rude and off putting. Not to mention our server was extremely slow. Disappointing experience this time with Fireside.

On a cold wet day in Portland this is ALWAYS our go to spot for a bit and a drink. Cocktails and spirits are top notch. The glow of the fire and subtle lighting are always warm and inviting.

If you’re wandering the wild, misty streets of Portland and thinking, “I could really go for a burger that makes me weep with joy and crab cakes that make me question my life choices (in a good way),” then Fireside is your new spirit animal.
We sat at the bar—because we’re fancy like that—and were immediately treated like royalty who’d traded their crowns for cold craft beer and impeccable service. My smash burger came out so perfectly crisped and juicy that I briefly blacked out and saw my childhood flash before my eyes. She got the crab cakes, which were so fresh I’m pretty sure a crab just clocked out in the back and high-fived the chef. The beer? Cold enough to give a snowman frostbite and good enough to make you forget all the IPAs you pretended to like in the past.
10/10 would recommend. Come for the food, stay for the vibe, and maybe leave with a new tattoo and a flannel shirt you didn’t know you needed.

Had to wait to be seated while they were ignoring me. I sat myself, server came in with menu and then food! Not even once stopped by to see if I need anything or how food is. Then after waiting for 20 minutes after my meal was finished, finally I went there to ask for the check. She ran the card and options are 20,22, 25% tip! Tip for what? I would get a better service at fast food restaurants.
