Friendly card room.
Seemed like a professional place to play poker.
Friendly staff, well rounded and welcoming players. Wide range of skills and multiple tables for different games. Lots of air filters too 😎 keeps it fresh.
Had a really good time... good people playing poker...
I like it. Welcoming and had a good time
Safe parking. Multiple tables. Staff on point to help.
This place did not follow up in their own rules. They have 35 rules listed to be exact. I had never played here, and I lost $. Reasonable experience if it wasn’t for the floor ruling that a player in a multiway pot could show her cards to multiple players before any action. Sketchy place. Be warned.
Excellent card room! Stopped in on a visit from California and was very impressed. Great action on a $1/$2 cash game of NLH without getting too crazy. Dealers were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Love the system of a $20 door/membership fee for the day and no house rake. Will definitely return next time I’m in Portland.
One of the best places to play in Oregon. $500 max on the 1/2 NL is good and being a first 5 players of the day and paying no door fee is nice. They run a nice variety of mixed games although I wish there was a larger fixed limit O8 game that ran there so I didn’t have to drive all the way to LaCenter. Other than that the staff are great and the action every time I’ve been is solid. If you live in the Salem area and want to play cash come to the game and save an hour round trip on your driving.
Great people and good times .

Always a good time, never been felted yet.
Exceptional service, friendly staff, and hospitable environment for amateur players as well as experienced players.
If any of my friends asked me “where should I play poker in Portland?” I would recommend this card room.
As it goes with any casino or card house, you will encounter players who exhibit vitriol and anonymity when things don’t go their way. This is the nature of gambling. However, The Game Poker Club has curated a friendly and welcoming environment for players of any skill level.
The staff/dealers were capable of handling any situation that occurred during my time there, and encouraged player actions that kept the game running fluidly.
Overall, this poker room is a hidden gem in the Portland poker scene. If you are curious about poker, or looking for a regular and regulated game- look no further. The Game Poker Club is great!
Special shout out to Angie, Collin, and Robert! These are just a few of the staff members that made my experience so memorable.
This place is amazing! I've played in alot of poker rooms and this one has some amazing dealers. Good atmosphere and management. Way better than most casino run poker rooms.
