This place has consistently satisfied my needs. I started a new job and this cafe is nearby, so I did a lot of my online trainings inside. They have wifi that can be accessed with the password on the outside of the coffee machine. I've tried a variety of their food and drinks as well and have been consistently met with the quality. My favorite drink of theirs is their lemongrass and hibiscus tea. Their matcha is fine, you have to ask for any sweetener in it, but the matcha...
Honestly didn’t know what the owners did to the previous baristas from Grounded. I really liked Grounded NW and naively thought maybe some of the baristas were still working here at Great North. No fault of the current baristas, however. They’ve all been lovely and make great drinks. But I do miss the old vibe and since learning what happened, I guess now it makes sense why this place feels so cold and is often empty now. Sad to see other local companies cannibalize this city...
