Lift Off Lounge is a destination for anyone who appreciates classic cocktails, imaginative decor, and a laid-back yet stylish environment. Whether you’re a cocktail aficionado or simply looking for a unique night out, this bar delivers on all fronts—delicious drinks, great food, and a vibe that’s both nostalgic and fresh. Highly recommended for those seeking a taste of vintage glamour in Portland.
The sesame grilled cheese was DIVINE.
Now I know what it's like to be
Inside the city of the dead
All I think of is breaking free
From all the spells chained to my head
Sword and axe are my destiny
I watch the stars turning blood red
There is light yes I've got to believe
For this feels like living inside a dream
I know now that I am lost in Necropolis :(
Favorite spot off Sandy for a cheeky cocktail. No screens / pinball means this is a great, intimate spot for a low key date night or quality catch up with a small group of friends. Their menu is small but mighty and their specials are always interesting!
Always has great cocktails and beers on tap. The seasonal salad was super tasty and a great value. The corn dogs here are exceptional, and the fries were perfect. Top notch jukebox. Don't sleep on this spot.
Get The Grasshopper! Should be packed but isn't, great wall murals and vibes
Super cute place, I had their corn dog which was delicious, I tried their espresso martini, wasn't the biggest fan but will be back to try other drinks! Super cool vibe. Street parking, felt like plenty of seating, order at the bar style.
I'm not sure how I came across Emily's little lounge on Sandy Boulevard, but I am happy I did. The food is always fantastic and presented well, and the cocktails are nicely done. Toss in the occasional, soulful singing of the proprietor, great atmosphere and friendly staff, and you have yourself a great lounge for lounging.
As much as i dont want to blow up a popular date spot for my wife and i i feel like giving credit where credit is due.
Service, food and drinks are great.
Photos are from Nov 28 2024 (Day of Mourning). The top half of the two tier bar was full of single middle aged white males from the midwest. Lol
This place is cute as hell. Dimly lit, perfect cosmo 50s aesthetic, and a chicken sandwich that’ll give any place in town a run.

Corn doggie dog yum
Great food, great drinks, great aesthetic but wow it’s loud even in the early hours of opening. Ouch. I’d love it if it were more chill at 5p. The music is great, just really loud.

How fun is this place! Delicious drinks, friendly service, comfy seating all in a place that’s a trip to the 70s while being contemporary queer! I’m so in love with this spot. Go on a date or a group of friends, you’ll have a fantastic time.
Food is yummy as are the drinks.
