This was our first time dining at the NW location as we live closer to Burnsides location. While they are both different in some ways they both have the same delicious food, great service, and a good atmosphere. It was nice and sunny so they had the large windows open so the fresh air coming in was great.

We had the carnita nacho, chicken nachos, street tacos, and romaine salad. All fantastic choices and the charred lemonade was very refreshing.

We came to Portland for medical appointments and ate at The Matador on 23rd st the first night in town. It was great! Best taco salad I’ve ever had! We’re back again on our last night in town. Many thanks to our server Jimmy for some great recommendations and to the hostess for remembering us. Eat here! You won’t be disappointed. And please open a matador in Polson, MT

The quesadilla is amazing very crunchy and the pulled chicken is really flavorful and juicy. The queso is interesting I wouldn’t get again but still a good dish!

Food was fire. Service not so much.

Great Mexican food with healthy portions. I absolutely loved the corn. I've had both a bowl and the lunch deal with the burrito and both were great options. You also get free corn chips and salsa, so account for that when ordering. 😉

Warm and inviting space. Portions are slightly smaller than the other Mexican food I've had in the area, but it is so so much tastier. The open fireplace is a nice feature, especially if you are perpetually cold. Wait staff is on top of it, really good service for really good food.

The surf and turf is delicious - the beef was perfectly tender and the prawns were so fresh. The Ceviche was perfect. The mango taco was dry though. They forgot our cocktails, which were not bad but not amazing.

We went preHappy hour. Pretty quiet, parking was easy, service excellent and food excellent. Next time I'll ask for light ice on my Bloody Mary and order the brussel sprouts.
