Yall just have the kindest employees!!! Thank you
Love this place. Great margarita choices. I highly suggest the cucumber jalapeño.
We came this past Friday during happy hour. We have been coming quite often and found this time to be totally dissatisfying. We ordered drinks, one cadilac martini and my wife had two martinis. The drinks were fine, but took a long time to arrive. We also ordered our usual, the fish tacos and the jalapeno peppers. Both were not enjoyable. The fish tacos were meager and the peppers were way undercooked. The peppers were really thick as was the bacon. We asked to have the peppers returned and a new order came out. Once again, the bacon was thick and undercooked and the peppers were thick. Thoroughly unenjoyable. We took home the peppers and I regrilled them and despite regrilling, they still were horrible.
Our server during the whole experience was very detached, and the place was not crowed so we expected quicker service. She seemed apathetic and didn't offer any kind words to us, with nary a smile. I come from a hospitality background and was not impressed at all. Sorry, for we have always been satisfied before, but we wanted you to know.
Thank you.,
Nice happy hour 😁
Used to be a good spot for sotol tequila and good nachos.
Now? No sotol tequila and really weird-tasting nachos.
Great dessert !!
Went for a birthday dinner and had wonderful service and amazing food
Amazing food!! We love the birria, taco salad, burritos, mango-pineapple salsa, chips and salsa, and all the crema/dressings. The service was a little rough—getting refills was difficult—but I think it was just the one server, Yvette, not the whole restaurant. She was nice and got us the correct orders, but she didn’t remember many of the requests we made and often walked away before checking in with us after bringing food, drinks, or anything else.
Happy Hour 4-6pm Huge plate of Nacho's for $7 quesadilla and tacos
Fed 3 people with tip for $28
Advertised as a restaurant, but no minors are allowed, which makes them a bar. All bars in Portland are required to have food. Dogs are allowed, but no kids.

A little to dark
We love our meals at the Matador!
Great atmosphere, great food, great margaritas.
The best bacon wrapped jalapenos ever, also steak nachos, and carne asada are winners.... Nice outside seating as well as the classic dark with a fire pit inside.
Mic was our waiter and he was really good. And the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.
It was late when I went to the Eastside location but a month before tried a Friday HH at Matador in Northwest that had a lot of vibe.
