Went to basement beatz on a Saturday. DJs were varying from terrible to great. The basement is extremely stuffy, there seems to be poor ventilation even with 2 fans running. Once I started dancing, I noticed the severe lack of oxygen and had to surface upstairs/outside. Great bass and sound system though. Didn't order drinks or food. Sadly won't return unless they fix the ventilation downstairs!
One of the best cocktail bars in Portland! Service is always wonderful. Staff is great and the drinks and food always hit! Occasionally has shows in the basement bar too! Go enjoy Midnight!!
