Two of the best meals I’ve had in the city have come from here so far. The bibimbap is nice and fresh, and the bulgogi beef is hearty, beautifully seasoned and perfectly tender. The service and staff are top tier, it’s nice to come in and be remembered. Beautiful location too with large glass windows that let sunlight in across the restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was delicious! Since it was an order at the counter restaurant, we didn’t get served at the table. I had to wait at the counter until someone left the kitchen to ask for anything. The young lady who brought our order to the table was a bit clumsy when she couldn’t find another way but placing hot dishes from the back of my baby. I had to stop her. The tables were not wiped properly, leaving water marks on most of them.

sundubu and banchan were delicious and flavorful, great kimchi. they also grow their own greens and mushrooms, very cool owners. the neighborhood is lucky to have them.

Honestly, not the best Korean. I think the 5 stars are a bit generous. Portland is not great for Korean, so this place is kind of in line with expectations for Portland. You won't be disappointed but you won't be thrilled.

If you are looking for a traditional Korean restaurant where the bibimbap comes out in a Korean dolsot (stone pot) and the banchan and kimchi are plentiful, this is not your place. It’s basically a pricey cafeteria with fine fare. Order at the counter, get a number and sit under fluorescent lights while you eat your lukewarm and not crispy rice…
