It was my mother in laws 86th birthday dinner and we all arrived for 6:00 reservation in which we received notification the night before to confirm. We showed up with the doors locked and the employee at the front desk said they closed for good last Friday. So they are not even in business anymore! We went into thr bar to eat as they used to have many of the same items from the 990 Steakhouse but no longer, the food was terrible. Ordered a hot toddy and they did not have hot water-seriously would not recommend going here.
Some of the best food in Beaverton, and probably a better steak than 99% of the local steakhouses. Salads were great, duck fat fries excellent, and steaks cooked perfectly. Background music was yacht rock, perfect for the ambiance. Being in a hotel from the 60's/70's, the smoke stench was prevalent in the lobby, the furniture updates slightly from its Shilo days. Got to to give it a try though, you won't be disappointed!
Nice out of the way spot. Service and atmosphere were great. Food was mediocre, especially for the price. Drinks were great though. I'd go back, but it won't be my first choice in dining destinations.
Our steak arrived on a cold plate. The steak itself was gray on the outside and slightly overcooked on the inside. The side potatoes were just barely underdone and the sauce was flavorless. There was barely any salt on any of the food. The service was good. Overall a one and done experience for us - skip this place.
This would be a five-star review except for the location. The motel is obviously older, and parking is very difficult. We were forced to walk a considerable distance uphill from the lower parking lot since there was no parking available at the street level. Otherwise, all of the aspects of the restaurant, including food and service, were outstanding.
Service and food were both very good. If I had not read reviews and knew it was in a hotel I would not have found it. I did not see any signage. Ambiance is not much, but more importantly value food and service were all very good.
Good food. Great service. The restaurant does have a smell. I noticed another person saying this as well. It may be natural gas smell the dirty carpet. Would I go back? Maybe.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. They definitely could do better by adding more Gluten free options to the menu.
The food was good, though I wish there was an alternative steak butter that does not include blue cheese. Possibly garlic butter. Drink order was not good, martini made incorrectly and served in an incorrect glass.
Good steak in Beaverton? And if you had told me, it's at the Best Western, I would have told you to F off. I've been to pretty much every steakhouse in Portland so I rarely think of Beaverton when going out for steak, but my neighbor told me about this place along with the cigar bar up top. About four of us rolled in about 1800 with no reservation, the place was pretty empty at that time so we got a table straight away. When you turn into the place, there is plenty of parking if you take the little one way road along the front of the hotel and go down the hill to the backside...plenty of parking. We had the house old fashions and my lady had her dirty goose martini, pork rinds and olives for appetizers. For the meal we all had the steak dinners. The prices here are amazing compared to other steak places in Portland and it's not all ala carte like those places so your dinner comes with steak, some gravy stuff on top and asparagus (you will smell it in your pee the next day) and potatoes. I had the NY strip steak cooked medium. Other folks at my table has the filet and NY strip with one person saying his filet was cooked too done but he still said it was tender and good. Now, most steak places serve prime beef and it's pretty easy to determine the beef is prime because it's generally all over the menu, and I meant to ask but it slipped my mind so I'm going to say it was choice beef....which is no necessarily a bad thing as I buy that from Costco unless I'm feeling extra and want to spring for prime. The steak also comes with a pat of butter on top that stayed solid so the steak was not super hot on the outside. The gravy was good, but next time I'll see if they put it on the side as good steaks don't need anything but salt and pepper and some good butter so the steak could not stand on it's on. The potatoes were excellent and I (along with others at the table) felt the asparagus was a bit overcooked. Overall the server was super nice, helpful and understood the entire menu and was amazing. I plan to go back again as I think my dad would like this place also so plan to take him one day. Best steakhouse in Beaverton? I'd say yes as I'm unaware of any other steak places in Beaverton. And it looks like this place is only open Thu-Sat.
Parking: The hotel is on a slope and there is ton of parking if you go down the hill towards the back...that would be south I think.

We came for a family celebration on a Friday evening. It was not too crowded, and we had reservations just in case. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. Unfortunately, the guest of honor ordered a steak, which was not prepared per his request. They left his sides, and he had eaten them by the time the newly prepared steak arrived. Otherwise, everyone enjoyed their dishes. We had heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so most likely, we will return, and I will update this review.

Don't let the location of this restaurant stop you from going. The service was fantastic and the food was really really good. Our group had some of the beef dishes, the salmon dish and the pasta dish. We also had the duck fat fries, the shrimp cocktail and salads. Everything was delicious! The ambience is a little dated but we looked past that and had a great evening. We'll be back.
We've been coming here for the last couple of years for a celebration, and the food has drastically gone down hill. I ordered my steak medium rare, and what I was given was well-done. I sent it back, they made it right and brought me another. I'm still not sure if I would call the second steak medium-rare either, probably closer to medium. But I ate it and it was good. The table across from us also sent steaks back for being overcooked. If you're going to be a steakhouse you have to know how to cook a steak to order. I used to say this was the hidden gem of Beaverton, but I don't think that's true anymore.
They did also comp us a dessert for this mishap, it wasn't needed or requested but was a nice gesture.
Parking: There is plenty of parking, but parking is tight and awkward sharing with the hotel
Kid-friendliness: There is no posted or provided kid menu but they did offer standard kid meals, small steak, burger and fries, butter pasta, grilled cheese, and quesadilla.

The place is pretty nice, however the food and staff were below average. Our steaks were literally swimming in sauces (even the french fries had sauce on them - and not a yummy sauce either). Something as basic as Coca Cola was gross. It was from the gun - had no taste, no bubbles, plain gross. We will not be returning ever.
