This is the most underrated steakhouse in Portland. The food is amazing and the staff is great. Everything on the menu is great!

Pretty good food at a great price. You can get a 7oz filet mignon for $40, with sides. However, even at that price the steak is cooked very well. We got a new York stripe because they had run out of filet mignons, ordered medium rare, and came perfectly. The steak also came with a gorgonzola butter, asparagus, and fingerling potatoes. The second dish we got was a chef special, pork cheek pasta in a cherry sauce. It was delicious and the pork was tender beyond belief. The only thing I would say is that it could use a bit of salt, on both. Side note definitely get the duck fat rosemary fries.

We had a great time. The service was fantastic and the food was quite good. Prices were reasonable. We all had steaks which were pretty good. Next time would like to try some of the other entrees. It was very busy but not terribly noisy. The staff was great and the general manager Heather was hopping, helping the wait staff take orders and serve entrees.

Zeer lekkere filet pur steak. Perfect gebakken. Voorgerecht was salade met bacon. Zaak is heel gezellig en dat is al redelijk uniek voor in de omgeving. Kortom een aanrader.

'Casual steak place attached to the Best Western. 'If you are a steak aficionado, skip this one. 'I hate to say that but.. there are far far better places at similar or only barely more expensive

Does the restaurant need a face lift, yes, but the service and the food outweigh the fact that the ambiance needs updating. I'm not sure why more people don't go here for dinner but I'm also glad as I can always get a table every weekend. We go here 2-3 times a month and love it.

I've been here several times because I stay at the attached Best Western. The service is good, the food is generally good. It is only open for dinner service on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays.

The steak was not great. Went with another couple and the staff only split the bill! My order was twice as much as the other couples and made me feel like a total jerk. They had 3 beer flavors, 2 whiskey's, and either red or white wines. What I'm saying is there was no real selection. I would recommend to find somewhere else.

This place means well but it's more or less masquerading as a legit steakhouse. Mostly, the prices resemble a fancy place but the steaks don't live up to it. I'm certain that my friend who ordered the rib eye and the friend who ordered the New York, got the same steak. My filet did not taste fresh - probably frozen. The service is best described as "adorable". Server reaching across my plate as I'm cutting my meat to fill my water. Again, if it wasn't representing its self as a bona fide steakhouse, it would be forgiven, but the whole operation was pretty amateur. Old Fashioned's were too sweet. Kudos to whomever built the website. Those pictures tell a different story. In real life, it very much looks like a fancied up restaurant inside a Best Western.

As many have said, this is a hidden gem. Great service. Great food. Excellent Old Fashion. Decent wine list (although small). But the food is the highlight. Great steaks.

For a steakhouse my expectations were high. Unfortunately, the meal wasn't great and the steaks were poor quality with lots of fat, cooked without any type of seasoning and relatively tough to cut and eat.

The service great and friendly. We both ordered the NY steak. It was cooked to perfection but was extremely tough. The potatoes and asparagus were both great. The Caesar salad and the potato soup were very good. Unfortunately, there was a large group in the area who were exceedingly loud. They had a very good time.

We needed a place to have Thanksgiving dinner on short notice. All the obvious places were booked. Fortunately Steakhouse 9900 was available. Very nice all around. They added turkey to the menu and it was excellent. One of our party had the filet which was cooked just the way she wanted it and was excellent. Highly recommend this place.

We love this place. It's our third time this year and it never disappoints. Great food with wonderful service. Hard to beat! We will be back. Also, a cigar bar upstairs for those who enjoy that experience.
