I personally think it’s a really cool place to stop by and see around all the tea!

the vibes were off we were interested in loose leaf tea the clerk came off rude or stuck up who peed in her cheerios but also to mention she seemed unknowlageable or unwilling elaborate on tea we were intrested in not only was the service bad the tea quality is less the superb you could find the same quality in a tin on Amazon You have not only insulted me but tea In general

Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and cozy/chill atmosphere. A great place to pick up gifts for friends or to add to your own tea collection. They're super nice and usually give samples of the teas you're interested in purchasing. Highly recommended!

Vibe was OFF. We entered in great spirits and had a great morning up to this point. We were so excited to go and smell the loose teas and pick some out. The person at the loose tea counter was giving off bad energy. We really enjoy tea and never get time to go to go in to do something like this. Incredibly disappointed. If you enjoy experiencing negativity, pretentious holier than thou energy than this is your place. I could never have thought that buying tea could feel so awkward. Experiencing tea is so much more than this. One of the things we asked for, we were told disapprovingly that they don’t have it because “we don’t have Taiwan teas here, you need to go to an asian place”. Anyway, my daughter found it in a bag on the rack. Big ick. Poor thing needs to find a job she enjoys. But also, we’ll never go back and spend that much to endure that again.

Best selection of loose tea leaves I've come across. At home I have 40 different black teas that I have purchased over time from Tao. That's probably not the right way to go because I have had a few for a few years now... do teas go bad? I haven't had a problem with any of my older teas yet.
I find it fun to try and compare the different teas.
Tao of Tea has so many different kinds and they are changing often. It makes for a good experience in my opinion.

Lovely ambiance and some gf snacks!

I called ahead to ask if they were open today (since it's New Year's Eve). The woman who answered told me yes, so I made the drive in to grab some tea only to find a locked door and a sign in the window saying they were closed. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Great small tea shop with tons is options for both herbal and “true” teas.

Amazing selection of tea at reasonable prices, and the staff is always very courteous and helpful.

The service I received here was not so good. I asked many questions about what I was purchasing, which was up to $60 worth of goods and I did not feel particularly welcome. Some shrugs and nonchalant "I don't know, maybes" really soured an experience my wife and I were excited for. The interior is nice and the food and tea in the tea room itself are good. I'll keep this at 4 stars since it might just be the actions of one person.

A tea drinkers paradise of sorts. You'll be amazed by the choices available here. The staff is patient enough to help you make a choice if you are overwhelmed by the choices. For someone who's always explored multiple options in tea from around the world I was amazed at some of the options here. Rarely have I found a single place with so many well stocked options of speciality teas.Decently priced and they'd gift wrap things for you on request! Hop into their tea room next door for some tasters and some lovely food too!

This place and the people running it are trash.

this place is all facade and no substance. the feeling we experienced in the tea house was "bacteria" and "suffocation". the owner is full of himself and seems to be all about image and not substance. we would not advise spending your money at this place.

This tea room is in the Lan Su Chinese Garden. You order at the counter and they will bring your order to your table. I sat outside by the koi pond, where I had a lovely shaded table and a great view of the dragonflies, water lilies, lotus, and koi. I had the pickled vegetables salad and licorice tea. The salad was so flavorful. I could have eaten quite a lot more, but the smalls plate was really just right. The licorice tea was not what I was expecting. It was delicate, sweet (naturally, I believe—it didn’t taste as if there was any sugar added), and aromatic. I loved it so much I went back in just to purchase a tin of the tea. A lovely place to rest on an afternoon.
