Wow! The ice cream is really good. Superior to the chains like Salt & Straw, Coldstone, etc.Found it through google maps … definitely worth a stop for sure. The bad - it’s small with no real seating. The flavor selection is limited (no 32 flavors) however, the flavors that they do have are really delicious. I’ve tried other “family owned” shops that rebadge generic ice cream. Not this place- we had the vanilla, mocha chip and cookie dough. All three were amazing.

Delicious ice cream. Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge and Lavender Honey are my favorite!

DO NOT GO HERE. I felt awful for around 30 minutes after consuming the dairy ice cream (cookie dough), despite not having a lactose intolerance. After the ice cream, I skipped meals the rest of the night since I was constantly throwing up and had to stay awake for a long time. I became ill with food poisoning. They assert that the homemade ice cream they produce causes numerous salmonella outbreaks every year. Without proper care and preparation, the ice cream is extremely likely to have gone bad, which is how I got ill.

Atmosphere is not too bad here. The service is normal with nothing out of the ordinary but the seating selection is very small and the ice cream just wasn't very good at this location. It seems to taste kinda plain.

Friendly staff, there was only one person working at the time so the line was getting long, but nothing they couldn't handle. Our Ice Cream & Milkshake were delicious! Lots of seating area, outdoor dog friendly, washing station, and many disposable cans to throw away your waste (not sure why that's important but it's something I noticed). We can't wait to stop by again!

Wow! Absolutely love everything about The Village Ice Cream Factory! Had the MOST delicious peppermint bark ice cream I've ever had. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure to check it out!

I didn't see a space to answer about gelato. I adore gelato. Seems to be extremely popular worldwide. My favorite is lemon, Love lemon and Lime. Some make a Key Lime to die for. Other traditional menu flavors like double Chocolate, Hazelnut (very Portland), or Nutella, all the Berries, Tiramisu, Sweet Cream, Pistachio or some mixes are appealing. Chocolate Chip or better Stracciatella may fill that gaps to fit in traditionally and may be popular with children and adults. The health aspects add to its popularity. Making the most delicious ice cream without even using cream but milk add to its a plus dessert even on a diet! Portland grows all the fruit and nuts locally too, beating ice cream as a healthier choice!

Fantastic ice cream shop in Multnomah village. Everyone in my family can find something, even with our varied allergies (dairy, gluten, strawberry, kiwi, etc) and the staff are always kind and engaging with my sometimes shy, sometimes super chatty kids. Their icecream pies are a big hit too.

Yummy, I had Rosewater Pistachio ice cream in a waffle cone. Lots of good toppings and sundae syrups. Ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and other frozen treats

Loved it! Great flavors, nice size portion. I got three scoops in a cup.

The best ice cream in Portland! Look no further as we have sampled many in the city and this by far the most creamy and delicious. Sorry Salt and Straw, this our new go to.

Found this by chance and it was very good ice cream. They have lots of flavor options and lots of fun toppings. A great place to visit on a hot day or when craving something sweet. Check them out next time you're on the area.

Delicious ice cream; this is definitely not Dairy Queen and it’s reflected in the prices. I’ve attached a picture of the menu as of August 7th, 2022- a 2oz kids scoop is $4, a malt is $8.75, and toppings are 25¢-$1.50 each. Expect to spend $7-10 per person plus tip.
