Love coming here for the margaritas made with house infused tequilas. The outdoor seating is especially nice in good weather.

Epic Portland dive bar. Down to nachos and hard shell tacos for food. Don't come for the food, come for the live music, rooftop balcony, and cheap drafts. Cool staff, huge band space, strong pours. Must stop on the Williams dive bar crawl

The Waypost is a quintessential neighborhood bar. As someone who has lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years I appreciate the cozy and comforting environment that supports local artists of all kinds. The trivia done weekly by at by ShanRocks Trivia has become a weekly staple for my friends & I. If you are looking for a relaxed and casual place to have a drink, see good art or hear some music than the Waypost is a must visit in the neighborhood.

We went to see one of our friend's play a show. The drinks were fine, a little spendy for a draft beer but it seems like that everywhere we go, these days. We didn't get any food but it looked and smelled delicious. Overall it was a good experience, they have a beautiful seating area outside next to the bar and they had plenty of seating inside.

Bartender and everyone at the bar were super friendly! A refreshing "friendly local bar feel" compared to the other joints around.

As a sober chick - not only am I grateful, but I am beyond appreciative, that they have nonalcoholic and Mocktail versions of all of their cocktails. I never once felt out of place and for that I have to give five stars. Thank you Brenton for the amazing service and the fantastic mocktails. An amazing birthday celebration for an amazing gal✨

If you're in Portland and haven't been to The Waypost, you're missing out. This place is not just a bar; it's a beacon of warmth and good vibes.Their Waypostaritta is a standout, offering a delightful twist on the classic margarita. It's one of those drinks that leaves you wanting more after the first sip.The bartenders here are the heart of The Waypost. They're genuinely awesome, making everyone feel welcomed with their friendly and knowledgeable approach. As a member of Izy Kactus, I've played here a couple of times. The Waypost is incredibly band-friendly, ensuring everything from soundcheck to the live performance goes smoothly. It's rare to find a venue that supports local music with such enthusiasm. In short, The Waypost is a gem in Portland's nightlife. Great drinks, wonderful staff, and a supportive environment for musicians.

I saw an open mic here. The employees are kind, and the vibes of the space are so fire. They also allow minors, which means that people like me who aren't quite 21 yet (at the time of writing this review) can still attend. The bathrooms are also super cool, with ethical graffiti. Only giving 4/5 stars because they don't have coffee, their selection of non-alcoholic drinks could be larger. (Especially for a place that allows minors).Overall- would recommend.
