The Whiskey Club

Came here with the wife and some of her friends (now my friends, too!) who know the owner, right at opening on a Saturday night. Expectedly, the place was chill, lightly occupied, and staffed by friendly and efficient waitstaff. I love this small, cozy venue. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. During COVID-19 they are requiring masks, doing temp checks at front door and requiring everyone to fill out a "contact tracing" form upon entry. But, wer noticed a few people inside and on the dance floor who removed their masks and the staff didn't say anything :( Friday nights there is a African/Reggae DJ until 10pm. Super cool atmosphere! Bartender made a bomb old-fashioned and they have a really good selection of whiskey. The ladies were all super sweet and private dance areas were both nice and clean. Must visit if you’re in Portland.
