Exactly what I was looking for. Stopped by for a 'quick bite' between gigs, so I had the nice lady wrap it in a to-go container knowing I'd only have time for half, but after that first half of the steak burrito, I said screw showing up to work on time in favor of savoring the other half. The food was delicious, the woman working there was incredibly sweet, and to be able to get a filling burrito (that even included cheese and sour cream and avocado for no extra cost) along with an iced tea, AND included chips and salsa, ALL for $11 is essentially unheard of in this, the two thousand and nineteenth year AD. Do it. Go there. Eat it. Yes.

Met papa lee, you'll never meet a more open and warm person. Treated like family instantly. Best food is always from family and I do recommended the ribs.

Didnt really like anything here. Real salty and service was slow. 45minutes to get our food and only one other person was in line! Plenty of other options in the pod!

If you dont get the fettuccine hot dog you're doing it wrong.

BEST. Hands down. And I come from LA. Papa lee is really friendly and puts a ton of love in his food. This is my second time eating tacos at Papa Lee's, we had the tuna and rock fish. Soooooo sooo sooo so good!!!! There's a flavor in the salsa that I can't pinpoint but it's crack. So delicious!!!! The portions are so generous compare to all the other carts around and the price is fair. Short story short I'm coming back and I recommend y'all go immediately!

The ahi tuna tacos are amazing! Each one has two torillas so they don't fall apart in your hand! Everything fabulous!

The food is amazing and the portions are huge and flavorful. The beer batter fish tacos are my favorite, but I've tried the fish and chips, ahi tacos and other things on the menu and never been disappointed. Excellent value for the quantity of food as well.

Monday Sept 10, 2018, came to have lunch because they have a lunch special. Unfortunately, the food cart was closed! Papa Lee's was voted State winner for Food Carts, how can they, they dont open consistently! They dont keep any kind of business hours!

Papa Lee's is SO GOOD! It's one of my all time favorite food carts. The food is amazing -- though I do confess I love the Ahi Taco's so much I mostly order those! The staff and service is also great. (And, $9 for 3 big tacos? wow!) Do yourself a favor and go there asap :)!

Stopped by the Pik Nick food cart pod about 3 in the afternoon (we passed them on our way to Oaks Park) for a late lunch. It was too late in the day for the Fish and Chips - Sold Out. So, DH settled for a trio of tacos al pastor - which he said were delicious. They ran out of steak, he was about to cook & slice up some more. I had the beef burrito. We waited about 15 minutes for a fresh batch of beef to be cooked. The burrito was monstrous in size and packed full of Veggies in addition to a generous helping of beef. I had to cut the burrito in order to eat it, I brought my own utensils & plate - way too big for my mouth! But almost good. Perfect, if you eat a meal 1x a day, and the meat is not that tender, I've spit some gristle in the meat. I took the 3/4's home for dinner. The chips that were served with our meals were tasty. The owner was very friendly and asked how our meals were when we departed. The setting was pleasant and noticeably free of flying insects, (except black birds). After eating some of my burrito, I tasted DH's tacos, which was made of pork (we had al pastor tacos before, and I was craving for his taco), but I was disappointed, I told him it tasted like fart. "What?" "It tasted like fart!" I didn't eat any more of his taco. Could it be, the burrito taste in my mouth doesn't go with the ingredients from his taco, and the reason why in my mouth it tasted like fart? I'm being honest! There's gotta be an explanation, but DH likes it! Note: He should have posted the SOLD products, so we could pick quickly or gone elsewhere!

Came to this food truck village for another food cart that was underwhelming. For insurance I decided to give this spot a try. Papa Lee saved the day. Ahi Tuna tacos were $9 and huge portions but what I loved is they cured my need for good Mexican. No it's not traditional, but it's hella delicious. Much love from this Cali Bro, you have a great thing going here. And thank you for your service.

The BEST food cart in Portland. No contest. Fish tacos with the biggest helpings. Tastiest and freshest stuff you can imagine. And super awesome owner and employees. Feel like your best buds with them after ordering. Ahi tuni and rockfish are both delicious. Yay for the BEST!
