Wasn't worth the 2 hour wait. Guess I was expecting a lot for a 2-hour wait for brunch. Food was okay but not great. They didn't ask me if I wanted an inside or outside table so when we had called for our seats we got stuck inside and it was loud and noisy and then we really wanted to be outside but would have had to wait a lot longer for that. So that made it even less worth the wait.

Probably the worst dining experience I’ve had in Portland! We had only heard good things about this spot, but our experience was anything but that. In short, we waited an hour to get bad food and weren’t checked on once.
My eggs Benedict portion was much smaller than expected. The English muffins were stale and burnt as if they were forgotten about and then re-toasted… my knife could barely saw through the edges. Everything felt overpriced, including the $4.50 self service coffee and tea.
The patio dining seemed very nice (we were seated inside where it was super noisy), and other orders looked better than ours. Clearly, other folks have had better experiences, but we won’t be coming back to a place that can mess up that badly!

Best cheese grits!! Plenty of outdoor seating. Best staff. Food was so perfect. Homemade biscuits were crisp and fluffy. Everything was perfect. Thank you, Tin Shed!!

Jam. Fire.
Always a great place to eat and awesome service. Recommend getting a reservation. Dog Friendly. Food is hearty. Mostly outdoor seating, even if undercover, so remind those who get cold easily to bring wraps. Order the biscuits (slather the jam on) and the grits.

Restaurantji Recommends
Went here on a recommendation from a friend who told me to get a reservation, so I did. We were seated promptly and ordered as soon as the waiter came by. The restaurant was busy, understandably on a Sunday around lunch time. However, our food took an hour to come. The server was extremely apologetic, it was not his fault at all, but he also said that they should not accept online orders on the weekend. The fact that they would process online orders while making in store patrons wait an hour is unacceptable. The food was amazing but not worth an hour wait with a reservation.
