Had the buffalo wings and they were delicious. Others in the group had the club and really enjoyed it.

Cute little bar with great atmosphere and service. Their cocktails are yummy! Both staff and customers are very cool, chill and laid back, and it feels very friendly and inclusive. (P.S. I've only tried the cheese curds here, and they were good!)

loved the queso that came with the hot pretzel, I even had some cheezy goo leftover! Good selection of beers and I enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and the wedge salad,

Seriously….. Searched “dive bar” and waddled in to TT. This place is far from a dive. Great vibe and super friendly staff. Get the Weck Royale. You won’t be disappointed. Had the Jasmin Collins and it was a 10!

The food service and beer is always excellent. The people that work there love dogs and there's commonly dogs in there to give dog love to the patrons. It's great! Absolutely great!

Friendly staff here! I had the wings both times I visited. Somewhat inconsistent. The first visit, I was very impressed by the wings. The second visit, they were quite good, but not the right texture. Maybe they didn't get to the temperature where the meat pulls off the bone. That said, they were 10 times better then Fire On The Mountain. Solid tap list here as well. Looking forward to trying the beef on weck.

Visited TT for the first time yesterday, but I'm pretty sure it won't be my last.
One of the reasons I visited was to try the wings here, which are reputed to be among the best in Portland. In fact they were quite good, with fresh, well made blue cheese sauce. I also tried the tavern pizza, which is only available on weekends (got the veggie version). While decent size for the money ($14/$15 as I recall), I didn't think it was anything special. I'd order the wings again in a heartbeat, but not the pizza.
In terms of beverages, I was surprised and impressed by the liquor selection. I didn't order a cocktail or any liquor, but they seemed to have an above average selection of gin, bourbon and vodka. I did order several beers, and was impressed by the selection. Things like Pallet Jack, Breakside Double Wanderlust, Recluse dark Czech lager and Bruery mischief were available this day (was very impressed to see the mischief on tap). It's not the largest selection (I think they had between 12 and 14 selections), but what they had was well thought out.
Service was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and drinks and food came quickly. Ambiance/atmosphere was informal and laid back. On this day there were 4 good size TV's, turned to various basketball games (March Madness). The inside area was pretty sizeable, with a good size outdoor area as well.
Prices were OK I thought. Pints of craft beer were in the $7/$8 range (high octane beers like the double wanderlust and mischief are served in 12 ounce glasses), while the wings were $14 (10 wings to an order). Three glasses of beer with wings and pizza came to around $61 with tip.

This place has some of the best, if not theeeee best, cheese curds in the city. We must have ordered five baskets of them for dinner. It was very popular when we went at 6pm and I enjoyed how jovial it was. For how busy it was the food came out relatively quickly! I’m already looking for excuses to go back.

Place is nice enough and the pizza looked good. My only gripe is that they wouldn’t sell us a to go pizza after we’d already bought beers. May have been a misunderstanding, to be fair.

Bartender kicked us out of our seats to save them for someone else. Place packed. Seemed shitty. Tried this place 3 or 4 times since I am in the area. Never above 3 stars. That was the last.

Smelly burnt food smells clouds of exhaust blowing in your nostrils make whatever amazing beers they have on tap taste like trash
I've never been in a bar that didn't have Crown Royal or Carona, and only allowed Buffalo Bills NFL Games.
