I dunno about the food because It's takes too long to order. second time I've been there and stood waiting to order behind folks who are scrolling thru the menu I guess, forever. Good grief. I doubt this place will last long here.
Tip Top Burger exceeded my expectations all-around. My meal was delicious, service top-notch, and priced right. You can tell there's an emphasis on the quality of the food. I will definitely be returning!

Take out burgers cold, bun not grilled, curly fries heavy, coke float was half full.
My second time there, and everything was so salty that I could not finish it. Both the oxtail burger and the fries. I am downgrading my review. Yuck!
Previously: "Imagine a burger made from 1/3 lb of Prime Rib. Then imagine this burger char-grilled to perfection. Add the best damn bun, finely shredded lettuce, and yummy yummy sauce and other toppings. *That's* what this Burger tasted like"

Great prices and food portions, chill employees, and stellar ordering method. I highly recommend this shop, especially if you're shy or tend to feel "social sickness"

Visiting Portland. Needed food after a long trip. This is the best burger that I have ever had! Fries were also probably the best I've ever had!

I came here 10 minutes before closing and ordered an American burger with large curly fries. The fries were very undercooked. I get that you are trying to close and go home but at least tell me that you are no longer taking to go orders so I don’t waste my time paying for food that isn’t properly cooked.

The Staff was indifferent and pointed to the widows when I asked about a menu. When the food did arrive I must say was quick but that is the only thing positive i will say. The meat was overcooked i.e well done the tots .. the menu said seasoned I did not see or taste any such thing. As for the drink... it was over half Ice with no refills. Then insult to the rest the woman wanted a 25% tip I do not tip just because I was thought that tips meant to insure prompt service. Not as part of the pay, I do not plan to ever go there again in fact i plan to warn people off from going it is a waste of your money and time.

I had the BBQ burger, fries, and a soda. It came in at ~$20 with a tip. You place an order at a digital kiosk on arrival.
The bun and burger dressings (fried onions, jalapeños, bacon) were quite good, as was the bun. The patty, which feels machine-made, was a little disappointing. For the price, I'd expect something hand formed. While the webpage states it is grilled medium, mine was well-done.
Fries were great, despite being served with about a tablespoon of ketchup.
The atmosphere is fast casual. The water station was empty when I arrived, as was the napkin dispenser at my table.
I plan to give this place another shot. if their salads are serviceable, and some of the issue above are addressed, I could see this being a regular spot.

Good food but salad was expensive for the size and they charge for ketchup beyond a small container included with the fries. Otherwise burgers were great (wish they could be cooked to diners' specification but not a huge deal).
Plastic silverware for such an expensive dine-in experience is annoying on many levels.

This is a really good burger. Like a gourmet burger that is also quick service. I don't normally even seek out burgers because I don't like sitting down with table service by myself and I don't want fast food burgers. Tip top is the sweet spot. Super fresh and delicious.

We tried coming in the first time last Saturday but they were closed due to being short staffed. We tried again today and they were open (my husband also called ahead of time). There is a touch screen for you to order - they prefer cashless transactions. The food comes out pretty fast. I got the spicy chicken sandwich - it definitely has flavor and is spicy but I think the chicken was overcooked and dry. It was still very tasty though. My husband got the avocado green chili burger and I think I enjoyed it more than the chicken sandwich. I especially liked how thinly they sliced their lettuce — like how the Japanese slice their cabbage. There’s also a garlic herb mayo that’s top notch. My son had a kid’s cheeseburger that he enjoyed. We also ordered curly fries to go with our burgers and again, I thought they were over cooked. I ended with the vanilla soft serve topped with strawberry sauce and whipped cream — it tastes like a McDonald’s strawberry sundae but 10x better.
