Such a lovely spot! Both the owner and staff are incredibly sweet, friendly, and full of positive energy. You feel genuinely welcomed the moment you walk in. The food is delicious, and the iced milk coffee is rich and satisfying—definitely a must-try. Service here is not just good, it’s heartwarming. Can’t wait to come back again! 💖

If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, this place is a must-visit! The food is fantastic—everything from the flavors to the presentation is spot on.
The best part? The owner, a really nice guy, was on hand to make sure everything went smoothly. If anything wasn't quite right, he was quick to fix it—talk about customer service! It's clear he takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the quality of both the food and the overall vibe of the place.
And don't worry about breaking the bank—prices are more than reasonable for the quality you're getting. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the mood for a relaxing and delicious experience!

I missed the food from the Vietnam trip, so I came here. 😋🍜🌍 I didn't have to go halfway around the world for good vietnamese food, so shouldn't you! 🍜😋🌍 Toast La Tea at 2446 SE 87th Ave UNIT 105, Portland, OR 97216

Toast La Tea is an amazing small business boba shop in Portland’s Jade District. The prices are affordable, and the menu offers a wide variety of delicious drinks. Recently, they’ve added Vietnamese street food items such as fish cake banh mi, hủ tíu gõ, grilled pork rolls, fried rice cakes, and even sizzling beef (bò né)—all so tasty! I’m impressed by both the quality and variety here. It's definitely worth a visit, and I highly recommend it!

I came, really excited to try the salted egg yolk pasta, and left really disappointed. It tasted nothing like salted egg but of just pure garlic. I like garlic but not for something advertised as a salted egg pasta that was “lightly seasoned with garlic”. If anything it just reminded me of a poorly made carbonara. It would’ve been nice to have some big salted egg chunks or something. The beef in the pasta was also just dry and tough, overall giving an unpleasant mouth-feel with the pasta. My friend ordered something else but by the time I got my own food, she had already long finished her’s.
SO QUICK! Had my tea done before I could even look down at my phone. Parking is very limited but has a free lot.
Noticed they had what appeared to be the cheapest banh mi in the area and went to check it out! I was not disappointed, not only is it a very affordable sandwich but it's very good too. Pork was well cooked and the bread was good quality. Will definitely come back

My family tried the dry rice noodles, iced coffee and the kiwi tea. I must say all are really good. The broth that comes on the side with the rice noodles is flavourful, the topping is great and there is a good amount of toppings as well. I love the iced coffee which is strong and the sweetness of condensed milk balances the bitterness. The tea is refreshing. Overall it was a nice experience here. Would like to come back one day
A gem for bread and milk tea lovers! From the moment you step inside, the warm Viet coffee fragrance welcomes you, setting the perfect tone for your visit. The Banh Mi options are incredibly crispy and range from diverse flavors to artisanal varieties with fresh ingredients.
Equally impressive is their milk tea selection. The drinks are expertly crafted, with rich, flavorful tea bases and just the right amount of sweetness. The tapioca pearls are always perfectly chewy, and the presentation is visually appealing.
The staff is friendly; however, I feel like they do not actually understand the food flavor. It should be improved, in my opinion.
Last but not least, Hu Tiu Go's new feature is the boom. I tried it for the first time and then fell in love with it.
Overall, this shop combines quality ingredients with a warm atmosphere, making it my go-to place for bread and Vietnamese coffee. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful experience!
Delicious milk tea, friendly staff and worth the experience
Hu Tieu Kho (dry) is a must try!!! Put some hot chili on it and I’m 🫠 Proof? Well there is nothing left…
First time here, vibes and staff are sweet.
I got the iced coffee with egg (my traditional favorite. if you’re getting iced I’d ask for lite / light ice, because there was so much ice in the cup i couldn’t even mix the egg in 😭😭😭
Staff was so beyond sweet and less ice definitely changed the whole game with being able to mix it all together (the Vietnamese coffee w/ egg) 🫶🏻
