We have been coming here for years and just keep loving the place more and more!

They have the best banchan we have ever found at a korean bbq spot and the best meat. Seriously, we clean the banchan plates everytime before we leave.

We get the plates of meat rather than the all you can eat since we have specific meats we love and just want large quantities of those.

Get their Toji Galbi and make sure to get a side of ssamjang to go with it for dipping!!

Also these are the sweetest servers and they always make sure we are taken care of. We love this spot.

Hidden gem! Me and my partner loveee coming here. We don’t have many AYCE Korean bbq places in Portland and this one is hands down the best we’ve experienced.

If you’re in the mood for Korean BBQ done right, Toji Korean Grill House is a must-visit. The all-you-can-eat setup means you get big portions of high quality meats — the beef brisket and skirt steak in particular stand out.

One of my favorite things here is the table grills with built-in vents. They do a great job pulling up the smoke so you leave smelling like you just had a great dinner, not a barbecue pit.

The side dishes (banchan) are generous and well executed, plus sauces and extras like rice cake are fun touches.

I’ve been eating here since I was 10 years old, back when it first opened as “Ginya”. I have since left Portland, lived in Koreatown, Los Angeles and even visited Seoul for some good K BBQ but still return because Toji is hands down THE BEST I have ever eaten; the meat quality is top tier, the side dishes are top tier, the steamed egg is top tier… you will not find a better K BBQ restaurant, and Katie is a gem who makes the experience even better! 🥰 Toji makes Portland a ‘foodie’ town for me. I will continue to visit in hopes it never goes away.

Toji Korean Grill House is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was super friendly, attentive, and down to earth — no fake smiles, just genuine hospitality that made the whole experience even better.

The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The meats were high quality, and the side dishes (banchan) kept coming — all delicious. You can really taste the care they put into everything they serve.

What stood out most, though, was the vibe. It’s not just a place to eat — it’s a place where you can relax, enjoy good food, and be around good people. Whether you’re new to Korean BBQ or a regular, they make you feel right at home.

Highly recommend Toji if you’re looking for great food, great service, and great people. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Juiciest KBBQ!!! I've never had such melt in your mouth KBBQ no joke this is the best quality of meat I've ever put in my mouth. While there was a slight wait our party of 11 received everything we asked for which is impressive considering there was only one server for a Friday night. 10/10 would go back here again.

My new favorite korean bbq spot! It's on the smaller side and has a welcoming, homey atmosphere. I love the grills that are used and the quality of the meat and dishes we received was the best I've had yet! The staff was kind and attentive. Im already excited to visit again!

Went here with a group of friends for a fun night out, and we had an awesome time. The meat was great quality, and the service was amazing! I would definitely recommend. Particularly enjoyed the tteokbokki with cheese as a shareable. The cheese pulls were crazy!

They have the meats!

Yeah, this place is way closer to 5 stars than 4. A great place to grill lots of great beef on your own grill. Excellent ventilation. Super nice owners. There are some mid-priced all-you-can-eat options in the $35 per person range that you will not be disappointed with. But you really want to power through a lot of meat then go with closer to two people rather than six people because with six people you will be limited by grillability. But 6 people will still do just fine and have lots of fun. If you like things spicy ask them to bring out a couple of hot sauces for you.

I do have a la carte meat options and appetizers but that would not be my move. Theoretically if you were a light meter you could pay less than doing the all you can eat. Enjoy.

Went here with a group of friends on a Friday night with no reservations, had to wait a little while before we were seated but wasn’t too long. Once we were seated service was prompt, friendly, and informative. Admittedly we are all fairly new to Korean BBQ and the serve could tell. She gave us tips and tricks on how to cook the meat more efficiently. All the meat was delicious and so were the sides. The soju juice pitchers were amazing as well.
