Amazing sandos! So good! We didn't know it was so popular until we got there and thankfully beat the line 😄 But it was would be worth the wait. Next time we are in Portland we will stop by again.

YUM! Been meaning to try this place, and so glad I did. The miso chicken katsu with black garlic is so so good. The staff (and owners I believe) are very friendly and nice. Just go, you won’t be disappointed, and there’s plenty of open air seating in the food cart pod to enjoy your sandwich.

Best katsu Sandos around. The specials are amazing as well.

The food here is authentic Japanese and the presentation is great, but it is expensive for an egg salad sandwich.
I reccomend the katsu or curry sandwich, you get more bang for your money with those.

Miso katsu pork was great, but definitely should provide utensils!

I got the pork katsu Sando with spicy mayo and it was INCREDIBLE! Have to wait in line for about 30-35 minutes but it was totally worth it!!

Very tasty and worth seeking out. Tried the pork and chicken katsu and both were cooked perfectly. I only wish they were open later.

I came from Vancouver BC to try some Sandwich places in Portland. Tokyo Sando was one of my choices and no regrets at all. Beautiful people, beautiful yet simple food. And the Japanese soda was very tasty too. Google job guys and I will come back each time I am in Portland. 💙💙💙💙💙💙

Best Japanese sandwiches in Portland. Made me feel like I was back in Tokyo. They are such a sweet duo and make all their food with extra love and care. So sad to see everything they’ve gone through in the past few years but so happy to see that they’re now in a safe spot and thriving. Always look forward to going here when I’m downtown :)

The vegan miso katsu sando is so yum. I ordered it as is, but I do think some additional black garlic would have balanced out the sweetness of the sauce and bread. The tofu is so crunchy and the sauce is sweet and pretty runny, but the bread holds together nicely and doesn’t really get soggy as you eat it. Still be prepared for some sticky fingies at the end.

Absolutely delicious and the beer garden area is great for a nice Sunday brunch.
We got wet the miso pork katsu and Scottish egg!
