Tomorrow's Verse is one of our favorite Portland establishments. The beer selection is top notch, the space is open and inviting, and the staff is always welcoming. They offer savory hand pies and permit outside food too--there is a wealth of excellent food options all along NE Fremont. Additionally, Tomorrow's Verse has a patio area--it became our living room during the height of the pandemic. If you're into live music, Tomorrow's Verse frequently hosts bands and streaming concerts. I cannot recommend Tomorrow's Verse enough.

Never in my life did I imagine that when I moved to Portland I would be living three minutes away from a Phish themed bar. They do webcasts of the Phish shows and provide silent disco headphones so if the bar gets loud you can hear the show better. They also do music bingo and Simpsons Trivia nights. The beer selection is great, they are mellow, you can bring outside food, and they are super dog friendly...

Beer16 rotating taps with really good selection of everything. As a IPA drinker I always find 3-4 options to choose from. The cooler is usually stocked with beer you would not usually find at corner stores. Mostly from local microbreweries. Mix and match and make your own 4-pack. Or pop one open for just a $1 here so if you want to switch from taps. Kegs do rotate often and there is a new beer every time so it is always a good surprise if you like variety. 16oz or 20oz options. As a former educator, he is real understanding of people’s needs and very knowledgeable and respectful to people’s needs.
